Danes se začne pomemben test E-Cat-a v Italiji. Razstavili bodo modul razen reaktorjeve sredice in vse stehtali.
Test bo trajal 12 ur.
E-Cat bo deloval v takiimenovanem "self sustained modu". Se pravi napajanje bi rabil samo za zagon, potem bi napajal sam sebe.
Prisostvovali naj bi pomembni znanstveniki.

Jaz mislim da je problem samo v izkoristku. Pri gorenju so vedno ogromne toplotne izgube.
Če gledamo kot napravo, so zaenkrat najboljše solarne celice. Koristi vir, ki ga je povsod dovolj, obnovljiv in zastonj. Ampak to je pač kolektor energije v naravi.

We were told the E-Cat itself got incredibly hot (so hot those present could not touch it), the heat exchanger worked well, a steam temperature of 110 C was recorded inside of the E-Cat, and the energy output was so much larger than the input, that there was no need to extend the length test.

What is very important is that no one has indicated the test was a failure, the results were bad, or that there was a major technical problem. From all reports, this test was a success. Of course we will have to wait until tomorrow for all of the information to be posted online, before we form a final conclusion.

Pa imajo ti "znanstveniki" pri sebi Geigerje? Ker kolikor mi je znano pri fuziji ven letijo precej neprijetne zadeve, kot so gama fotoni in nevtroni, oni pa imajo reakcijo v posodici, ki se jo dotikajo z rokami... :))
IMHO gre za neko kemijsko reakcijo. 4h testiranja? Naj pustijo tak output 1 leto, po strogim nadzorom, potem bomo pa videli, kako bo stvar špilala brez vnosa goriva..

Konec koncev, tudi če gre za kemijsko reakcijo, bi zadeva bila super, če bi le lahko proizvedla velike količine energije na račun lahko pridobljivih stabilnih reagentov. Saj, konec koncev je tudi jedrska reakcija neke vrste kemijska reakcija. ;)

Vse skupaj zgleda optimistično. Nekateri pravijo, da so razočarani nad outputom (samo 3.5kW) ampak point ni količina outputa ampak ali sploh deluje.
Če zadeva ne bi delovala, bi ga verjetno vsi skeptiki raztrgal, tko je pa vse tiho, ker ne vejo kaj napisat :)

Še mal tehničnih podatkov za tiste ki se spoznate, meni prav dosti ne pomeni, ker sem na tem področju laik.

Ja tko pravijo.

Tko kot je že en rekel, če je hoax je "damn good one". Ne vem, da bi šel Rossi čez vse to in nategnil toliko strokovnjakov... Hmm malo verjetno.
Bolj je za verjet, da sicer zadeva deluje ampak mogoče ne točno tko kot on trdi, recimo da se vse skupaj zjebe v enem mescu. To bi bil recimo verjetna natega.
Pa še to je prototip. Ko bojo znanstveniki širom sveta začeli nadgrajevati njegov izum.... samo pomislite, kakšen napredek si lahko obetamo.

Dear Andrea Rossi,

In regards to the latest test of the Energy Catalyzer, I have a number of questions I hope you can answer.

1) My understanding is that if a reactor core is not adjusted to be under-powered (below its maximum potential) in self-sustain mode, it can have a tendency to become unstable and climb in output. If the reactor is left in an unstable self-sustaining mode for too long, the output can climb to potentially dangerous levels. Can you provide some information about how the reactor core in the test was adjusted to self-sustain in a safe manner?

Although the power consumption of this device is probably insignificant, providing a figure could help put to rest the idea (that some are suggesting) that a large amount of power was being consumed by the frequency-generating device, and transmitted into the reactor.

a) Can you tell us anything more about this frequency generating device and its function?

b) Is the frequency-generating device turned on at all times when a module is in operation, or only when a module is in self-sustain mode?

However, you have stated in the past that the catalyst is actually one or more physical elements (in addition to nickel and hydrogen) that are placed in the reactor core. 3) Does the reaction have to be quenched with additional water flow though the reactor, or is reducing the hydrogen pressure enough to end the reactions on its own?

ANOTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION: IF YOU LOOK CAREFULLY AT THE REPORT, YOU WILL SEE THAT THE SPOTS OF DRIVE WITH THE RESISTANCE HAVE A DURATION OF ABOUT 10 MINUTES, WHILE THE DURATION OF THE SELF SUSTAINING MODES IS PROGRESSIVELY LONGER, UNTIL IT ARRIVES TO BE UP TO HOURS. BESIDES, WE PRODUCED AT LEAST 4.3 kWh/h FOR ABOUT 6 HOURS AND CONSUMED AN AVERAGE OF 1.3 kWh/h FOR ABOUT 3 HOURS, SO THAT WE MADE IN TOTAL DURING THE TEST 25.8 kWh AND CONSUMED IN TOTAL DURING THE TEST 3.9 kWh. iN THE WORST POSSIBLE SCENARIO, WHICH MEANS NOT CONSIDERING THAT THE CONSUME IS MAINLY MADE DURING THE HEATING OF THE REACTOR DURING THE FIRST 2 HOURS, WE CAN CONSIDER THAT THE WORST POSSIBLE RATIO IS 25.8 : 3.9 AND THIS IS THE COP 6 WHICH WE ALWAYS SAID. OF COURSE, THE COP IS BETTER, BECAUSE, OBVIOUSLY, THE REACTOR, ONCE IN TEMPERATURE, NEEDS NOT TO BE HEATED AGAIN FROM ROOM TEMPERATURE TO OPERATIONAL TEMPERATURE.

Se vedno mislim, da v reaktorju poteka zgolj oksidacija vodika ob prisotnosti nikljevega katalizatorja.

Odgovori tega avtorja so povsem neprepricljivi (uporaba velikih tiskanih crk ne vpliva na verodostojnost), saj niti z besedo ne omenja znanosti v ozadju.
