Zgleda kar vredu, če bodo tako nadaljevali in če bodo naredili kar so rekli (kar veliko jih ne), bo pomoje celo ena izmed najboljših iger v 2017, morda celo za GOTY.
Glede na early footage zgleda super. Edino kar me moti je to da bo največ 6v6, samo upam da bo to samo na začetku, če bo dovolj igralcev bi bilo res dobro videti kakšne 30v30 ali več, tudi kakšne znane boje bi lahko reenectal ali kaj podobnega. Seveda je to vse še daleč, vmes se lahko veliko spremeni, samo mi je všeč da bo nekaj takega prišlo ven (če ne štejemo red orchestra serije).

Nič ne bo isto kot cod2 leta nazaj. Nostalgični spomini so posebne vrste ptič. Tudi če greš cod2 danes, ni isto, kot je bilo, ko je bil kralj. Sem mislil, da bom z Verdunom zakrpal postravmatske strese- konca ere coda, a ni bilo isto. :]

Jaz pa v tem, kar sem videl tule ne vidimo res popolnoma nič posebnega. Igral vse stare shooterje od Duke Nukem 3d, Quake serije, Unreal serije, Wolfenstein serije, Call of Duty, Medal of Honour in za tiste, ki bi radi igrali nek avergae shooter, je tega danes več kot dovolj. Ne vem zakaj bi bila tale stvar kaj novega in boljšega. Teksture slabe, motion slab, mehanika zgleda lesena, level design tudi nič posebnega, ne vidim popolnoma nič, v čemer bi bila ta stvar kakor koli boljša od povprečnega shooterja. Jim pa seveda kot bolj ali manj indie developerjem privščim, da jim rata. No na KS so že zbrali kolikor je bil cilj in zgleda, da bodo šli krepko čez, ker je še 26 dni za pledge-at. Je pa nekdo omenil pred mano, da je tole lahko GOTY, upam da je bila to šala, ker tole je patetika proti resnim AAA igram, ki konkurirajo za naslov najboljše igre leta - malce resnosti prosim.

$200k je zelo majhen budget za tako igro.
Verjetno je to letelo na mene? Se povsem strinjam, ampak takšen je bil njihov goal. Je pa jasno, da vsak, ki gre na Kickstarter ne upa pretiravat. Sem pa zadnje čase še posebej pozoren na vse, saj berem in gledam vse loge od Star Citizena in gazde projekta, tam so/smo trenutno pri 107,510,816$, pa me je iz dneva v dan bolj strah, če bomo dobili, kar smo plačali in supportali, čeprav je Roberts zaupanja vreden, glede na njegove reference, a vendarle ko vidim kako počasi se stvari premikajo, me skrbi, če bo vse tako dodelano in nadpovprečno. Če se lahko tu zalomi in smo ljudje skeptični, potem se pri neki ekipi parih "pubecov" s pledge goalom in že prežvečenim žanrom, še prej zalomi.

It's 2:00am here in England (I just finished it at 03:15). This is the 10th night in a row I've been up this late. Myself and the rest of the team at Bulkhead will be in first thing tomorrow designing, creating, and building great games. We've been working hard trying to give you something special for Battalion's stretch goals. We didn't want to settle for 'ok'. We really wanted to show you what we can do.
The Budget Continues to Grow!
Firstly, as I look over at my live update, I see ?236,451 / $338,667 / €304,605. Wow, that is just amazing. Thank you so much to all the backers, for pledging towards Battalion. We're humbled by the messages of support we've received through every possible form of contact, including fan mail to our studio! We can't believe we're all on the same page with Battalion 1944, we're ecstatic with the response we've received from the FPS community and we're proud to be representing our Battalion community across the games industry. Thank you all for backing Battalion, we won't let you down. We're just as passionate as you are about classic WW2 shooters, the passion for great shooters drives the development of Battalion.
Communication with our Fans and Backers It's come to our attention that some feel we as a development team have not been communicative enough. Everybody is entitled to their opinion and we are respectful of this and so is the majority of the Battalion community. We have responded to as many of the emails, tweets, and posts as we possibly can. We have good reason for not using the kickstarter comments section; and that is because we want to build a community. With Battalion's growth, the kickstarter comments section is an inadequate and unsuitable way of communicating with fans and consequently doesn't help us build and grow our community. As a result, from day one we've been directing fans towards our forums for all queries and discussions. We've also been very actively responding on twitter. I regularly respond to tweets personally on my twitter at @Brammertron. Howard also responds from his twitter at @HowardPhilpott. The official twitter of Battalion and Bulkhead are also both very active. You can also reach us through info@bulkheadinteractive.com!
So if you want to get in contact with us and you want to discuss Battalion! There are plenty of ways to do so!
HOWEVER!
We are aware we can improve. Battalion has grown at a much faster rate than we initially expected resulting in us being a tad overwhelmed behind the scenes. You guys deserve all of the attention we can give. We want to be able to answer all of your questions and we want to be even more involved in the community than we already are. For us to not lose time developing Battalion, we have hired a community manager who will be starting with us soon. This is great for Battalion because it means you'll have direct and constant communication with the development team, while the team is still able to continue designing and creating Battalion 1944.
I want to personally apologize to any member of this community who feels we haven't been communicating as well as we should. I promise the community is at the for front of our minds with every decision we make. You guys are the driving force behind Battalion and you deserve our communication and respect. Thank you for believing in us.
Where are the stretch goals?We wanted to know what you wanted to see in Battalion 1944. We've been harping on for weeks about how we're putting the community first and how we're in this together. We had a golden opportunity to show you all that we listen to YOU, discuss your ideas internally, then implement the request's you guys make. Our team has been working day and night to produce these kickstarter stretch goals. When I say produce, I mean in 17 days we have added entirely new features to the game to show you, we haven't just "said" we'll do it.
We've actually gone and done it.
Some of the things we had already planned, but some of them we've gone away and designed them. We want you to see what you're buying or see why you should raise your pledge. We want you to know how much we as a team and I personally care about this community having a voice. So in the coming days when we announce our stretch goals, we're going to have a sprint to the finish line. The last few days of this kickstarter need to be huge, we need to push, tweet, share, back, like, pledge, raise, and show all the support we can for this game we're all so proud to be a part of.
Trust The Developers
We are being as open as we possibly can be. Post kickstarter we'll be showing you inside our studio with live streams, fly on the wall meetings, open community & developer discussions, and eventually play tests. However, there will be times where we need the community to look at what we are doing and trust us, keep pushing the game, and have faith.
To Summarize!
We're actually pretty communicative, you can always reach us if you use the right channels. Those being the forums, email, and twitter. We know we can improve, we definitely aren't perfect and we're taking steps to fix our communication issues including the hiring of our community manager. We know what we're doing here, everything we do is carefully planned and methodically executed. There is a very good reason we are waiting so long to announce our stretch goals. We'd like to make the biggest splash possible and we'd like to flex our development muscles for the community to give Battalion the best budget it can possibly have. We're creating a sprint to the finish line, and its all starting next week.

We've been extremely hard at work on Battalion getting the game feeling good at it's most basic level ready for Alpha in May. This goes from fluid ingame movement and solid weapon mechanics all the way to balanced map design for 5v5 Search and Destroy. We've known that even though there's extreme hype for the game that It's important we don't rush our work so that we nail the feel of our game. This isn't just a UE4 shooter, Battalion's editing tools are becoming their own engine which we can update for years to come.

Ma tole je bedarija. Že februarja 2016 sem prek kickstarterja kupu njihov paket pa šele 1.2. dobim steam kodo. Na beto sem se s tremi maili prjavu pa nič.

Prvi dan je bil bolj tak. Sam sem na discordu našel en strežnik in sem igral cca 2 uri potem brez težav.

Včeraj je bila katastrofa s serverji. Najprej sva s kolegom čakala več kot 30min, potem pa še ekipe niso bile balansirane, drugih igralcev pa ni dodalo, tako da nismo mogli igrat.

danes dopoldne je že šlo nekak za silo, mi je kul, samo kr dostkrat se zgodi da zašteka nekak, ampak fps-ji ne padejo.

Meni pa precej FPS dropa. Na eni mapi mi neigralno FPS dropa na točno določenem območju (25m okoli vodnjaka), večkrat pa mi dropa tudi tik preden je kak duel, tako da me zlepa ubije. Malo še morajo delat na optimizaciji in matchmaking in serverjih, drugače pa mi je špil kr všeč
