Jaz imam Mustek PowerMust 1400 in se nič ne ugaša.
Pa kaj za vraga imaš priklopljeno, da ga obremeniš samo 3%? Polniš mobitele? ;)

Na 500VA MGE imam v službi priključenih par inštrumentov, ki zelo malo kurijo, mogoče par W. Ko je zmanjkalo elektrike, se UPS ni ugasnil. Morda je potrebno nastavit shutdown parametre, recimo čas do shutdowna in power-off-a.

the Powermust thinks that there is nothing connected. 20 Watt is to low.
You need minimum 60 Watts.

Hello!

I have recently purchased Mustek Powermust 800 USB UPS. I need it as a
backup power source for low power communications devices (adsl modem,
switch). Because of minimal UPS load (2-3%) I have expected backup time of
several hours, which is what I need.

But instead, I have discovered a problem: UPS shuts down itself after 5
minutes of operation. This is regardless of any software (Winpower)
settings, and battery is still almost full. I've also tested the UPS with a
higher load (PC computer, 20% load) where no such problem exists!

It seems the problem comes in effect only at very small UPS load (embedded
logic does not recognize low power drain devices and decides to switch off
the UPS?). Is there anything I can do to overcome this problem? Please
advise.

No, danes je končno spet zmanjkalo elektrike, potem sta bila še dva vklopa in izklopa. PC je preživel brez reseta. Se pravi: močan napajalnik z aktivnim PFC in en navaden (offline) UPS, pa stvar dela.

Mene pa zanima, ce bi imel line-interactive (torej ne offline) UPS ali bi bilo potem bolje (neodvisno od napajalnika)?

Mislim, da je napajalnik, precej bolj pomemben in preeeeecej cenejši kot online UPS. Napajalnik 500 W z aktivnim PFC te pride kakih 20-30kSIT. Online UPS 100kSIT minimalno. Odkar sem kupil Antec True Power 550W ni nobenih problemov več.

Hint: Kupi Anteca True Power, ne bo ti žal.
