Heh, sam se pri tem sprašujem le kakšno je razmerje obsega 'lastištva' nad Trumpom med ameriškimi in ruskimi oligarhi. Edino gotovo je le to, da ne dela v dobro Američanov. Je pa ta delitev zunanjepolitično zaslužna za deeskalacijo napetosti med ZDA in RF. V primeru zmage skoraj popolnega lastništva ameriških oligarhov (H.R. Clinton) bi odnosi hitro eskalirali.

Trump je razvajeni sociopat in milijarder. Edini resen uspeh v času njegove vladavine do današnjega dne je ukrep nižanja davkov bogatim. Vse ostalo ni omembe vredno in je eno veliko blefiranje. Ne bo naredil nič, da bi ogrozil interese svojih bogatih prijateljev, recimo omejil uvoz ali svetovne konflikte etc. etc.

There are more than 60 systema clubs in Germany; many of them openly use the insignia of Russian military or domestic intelligence. A German branch of the Night Wolves, a Russian patriotic biker group, has opened.
Of course, these are tiny groups in otherwise peaceful countries. Far more serious were the reports last week of Russian-trained mercenaries who have allegedly established a paramilitary unit in Bosnia, in order to back a Serb separatist leader.

It might be possible to dismiss these cases as isolated and unimportant if it weren’t for the fact that Russia does have a history of using paramilitary groups, along with disinformation, corruption and other tactics, to destabilize its neighbors. And there are older examples: The sudden appearance of armed local thugs who previously trained in the Soviet Union was part of what made possible the Sovietization of Central Europe as long ago as 1945.
It also matters because the tactics that Russians test and refine in Ukraine or Moldova are often then tried farther West. (...) Za nasmejat je vsekakor koristen in seveda ni problem samo on, temveč celoten ameriški establishment. Zagotovo me bolj skrbijo Ameri kot Putin, ker tudi bolj vplivajo na moje življenje, saj je Slo/EU del njihove sfere vpliva. Da bomo pa preživeli, ali pa tudi ne..vsekakor drži

But even that higher figure leaves out some key expenses, such as the future costs of interest Americans will owe for the money borrowed to finance the war in Afghanistan. That alone could add trillions of dollars to the total tab.
The latest data from the New York Stock Exchange show margin debt, or cash borrowed to buy shares, hit a record $528.2 billion in February, up from its prior high of $513.3 billion in January.

Medtem, ko je Rusija že pred časom najavila obsežna nižanja vojaškega proračuna v naslednjih letih, se ti ubadaš za nekim bombnikom, ki niti prvega poiskusnega poleta ni doživel niti ni bil mišljen, da bi prišel v uporabo pred 2025.

O tvojem drugem odstavku pa nekako tako, ko ti natisneš 10 triljonov$, se ti mora nekje to poznati v sami rasti, seveda dokler to rast vsi primerjajo v $, po drugi strani pa je Amerika vedno manj konkurenčna, in da Cene morajo iti v luft, drugače bi bilo kitajcem preveč enostavno pokupiti ameriko. No ampak, kot pravijo, amerika nikoli ne bo imela potrebe vrniti izsposojenega dnarja.

A year ago on Saturday, Russian nationalists partied in central Moscow to celebrate Donald Trump’s inauguration as the 45th president of the United States.
Euphoria has given way to dismay as the man they expected to end U.S. sanctions against Russia reluctantly reinforced the penalties and allegations of Russian interference in the U.S. election, denied by Moscow, eroded political ties.
Some Russians even say it might have been better if Hillary Clinton, long portrayed here as rabidly anti-Russian, had won the presidency.
“Under a Clinton administration ... we could have maintained some kind of contacts and dialogue, at least in the arms control sphere. Now, that’s all gone,” said Valery Garbuzov, director of the Institute for U.S. and Canadian Studies in Moscow, which advises the government on foreign policy.

News of Trump’s White House win was greeted by applause in the Russian lower house of parliament and the head of the Kremlin-backed RT TV channel, Margarita Simonyan, said she felt like driving around Moscow with a U.S. flag.

“(U.S.) sanctions policy is designed to turn Russia into a toxic asset so that any investor will think 10 times before deciding to enter the Russian market,” said Ivan Timofeev, a sanctions expert at the Russian International Affairs Council (RIAC), a think-tank close to the Russian Foreign Ministry.
Russia’s scope to defend itself from new sanctions was “extremely limited,” he said.

The U.S. Treasury Department is due to publish a report before the end of this month naming wealthy Russians close to Putin or the authorities, something Russian officials fear is a prelude to extending a list of sanctioned people and entities.
Russian officials say they expect at least another six U.S. government reports this year that may result in new U.S. action against Russia’s energy and financial sectors as well as media, and a possible ban on the purchase of Russian Treasury bonds.
“(U.S.) sanctions policy is designed to turn Russia into a toxic asset so that any investor will think 10 times before deciding to enter the Russian market,” said Ivan Timofeev, a sanctions expert at the Russian International Affairs Council (RIAC), a think-tank close to the Russian Foreign Ministry.
Russia’s scope to defend itself from new sanctions was “extremely limited,” he said.

The Trump administration has also upped pressure on Russia over Ukraine, going further than Obama by authorizing the supply of new weapons to Kiev, which is locked in a war with pro-Russian separatists in eastern Ukraine.
It has also described Russia as a revisionist state seeking to challenge U.S. power.
Andrey Kortunov, head of RIAC, said Moscow had been blinded by its desire for “anyone but Clinton”, a view that the Republicans were easier to work with than the Democrats, and a belief that Trump’s world view overlapped with Russia‘s.
“We warned them,” he said.
Garbuzov, whose institute also advises the government, said the elite wrongly assumed the U.S. political system was like Russia’s where the president has few checks on his authority, and can now only try to limit the damage by cooperating where possible.
“Trump can’t do anything (to improve Russia ties),” said Garbuzov.
“He’s made vague statements saying it would be good to fix relations, but how to achieve this is an enigma for him.”

If you believe that to be a plausible theory you really haven’t a clue as to how democratic government works. Over the last ten years (six of which I’ve been reporting on Magnitsky) more and more evidence has come to light vindicating Sergei’s discovery of a criminal conspiracy. The Russian government, which initially *compiled much of this evidence itself*, has meanwhile changed its line on what happened and concocted easily debunked “alternatives”—debunked foremost by Russian journalists and civil society actors. The Panama Papers, whose team of investigative journalists won a Pulitzer, uncovered Magnitsky money. So too did the NY Southern District, from whose ranks Mueller’s team of investigators has been drawn. The Southern District is not a frivolous tool of US foreign policy.
As to Browder’s “motives,” let’s examine them. Most victims of the kind of tax scam his companies were used to perpetrate try their luck with the ECHR or human rights orgs to find justice outside of Russia, where it cannot be found. What they do not try to do—because it jeopardizes their lives, the lives of their families and/or subjects them to ever graver legal persecution—is turn global crusader to honor the legacy of a retained tax specialist who was murdered for his patriotism.
Most billionaires would try to lower the temperature with the Kremlin, if not make amends and recoup their losses. Browder’s personal fortune has gone toward exfiltrating lawyers who might also suffer Magnitsky’s fate and to fending off red notices and libel suits. The extent to which Hermitage even still functions as a hedge fund as opposed to a private investigation/advocacy group is also interesting. Show me how Magnitsky sanctions or this tub thumping about a fraud/murder enriches Browder. (I’ll wait.)
And yes it is absolutely true that the Obama admin found Magnitsky an inconvenience to its “reset”. Much the same way it found genocide in Syria a distraction from its Iran rapprochement. In the UK, it was even more of an uphill battle as I’ve interviewed financial enforcement officials who used to say that any attempt to interrupt the steady flow of rubles into London was met with antipathy from No. 10, Westminster and the City.
So now: let’s add another wrinkle to the theoretical litany of Browder motives. A hedge fund manager who cannot do business in Russia or (for a time) travel to European countries for fear of extradition via Interpol relocated to Britain. Then he antagonizes every British politics stakeholder by lobbying for Russia sanctions. He also pisses off the US energy and financial services industries by successfully getting the Magnitsky Act passed. He casts himself a pariah among the Davoisie; a thorn in the side of foreign offices and Western stock markets. In short, makes life as a hedge fund manager rather difficult for himself. All to prove that his slain accountant was right and didn’t get beaten to death in vain. What a cynical plutocrat! Cui bono, comrades? It’s as if Bernie Madoff dressed up as William Wilberforce!

This includes Chinese, US, European, Russian, Middle Eastern, etc. Special Forces as well as regulars, forward bases, patrols, jogging routes, etc. etc. This through personnel not turning off fitbits or phone apps whilst moving about. The consequences of this are potentially, quite big in some places (Africa, ME, etc).

The Strava Global Heatmaps shows us someone had their phone on them while they were going around Al Tanf military base, which is known to have been used by the US in Syria.
Rather interested to see what these two circles of activity are on the Strava map, seemingly in the middle of nowhere, Yemen.

V Tuniziji in v Egiptu je prišlo do domačih vsaj brez tuje pomoči, zaradi vsesplošnega nezadovoljstva z mizernim stanjem države in vseobsegajočo korupcijo. Obe državi sta imeli celo pro-zahodni vladi, kakšen debil moraš biti, da dogodke v Tuniziji ali Egiptu obesiš na vrat ZDA/Zahodu?
