Nisi, ane.
No oboje je degenerirano napacno. Ti bos ze vedel. Balkanizam nema spasa.

Turkmenistan is incredible. Without warning, the government banned black cars from Jan. 1 because the president prefers white. Impounded black cars are being returned to owners who promise to shell out upwards of $1,000 to repaint them. Turkmenistan banned the import of black cars in 2015 because "the color white brings good luck". Turkmenistan is a closed country, but it shares a lengthy border with Iran. Would have thought they'd be watching the #IranProtests.

CounterPunch se je nasral s par članki lažne avtorice, zato so šli vrtat in spotoma razkrili ekosistem propagande oz. lažnih novic. V grobem so pod aliasi in krinko "medijskega centra" pošiljali šit raznim alter medijem in upali, da bo kdo objavil.

Is this what online journalism looks like in the era of Russiagate fever? A fake writer (read Alice Donovan) catfishes CounterPunch and a dozen other online websites. A handful of her articles are published over a two-year period. The FBI is tracking her and believes this writer, whoever is behind the moniker, has some ties to Russia.
...
In our quest to unravel the identity of the now infamous Alice Donovan, we realized she wasn’t only a fraud, she was also a quack journalist. Many of Donovan’s stories were in part plagiarized, none more flagrantly than an article titled “US-led Coalition Airstrike On Assad’s Forces Was Not Accidental.” It took a few quick searches to uncover the original source of the piece, which was ripped off entirely from a writer named Sophie Mangal, whose article by the same title was published at The International Reporter on the exact same day Donovan submitted the piece to CounterPunch under her own byline.
...
When we realized Donovan had plagiarized Mangal we immediately reached out to her via email to 1) confirm she indeed wrote the piece in question and 2) apologize for making such a big mistake.
Mangal quickly responded to our query. “For sure, it’s my article. It was originally published on the website of Inside Syria Media Center. Actually, I don’t know Alice Donovan and who this person is,” asserted Mangal.
...
Even so, we believed something in Mangal’s awkward response to us was fishy. First, the English in most of her submissions was fractured, especially for someone who claims to have attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill as a “Media and Journalism” major. Second, as noted, Donovan’s pilfered piece was emailed to us around the very same time that Mangal’s story was being posted to the International Reporter site. How had Donovan seen it, cribbed it and sent it to us so quickly?
...
In search of answers, we began looking more closely at Mangal’s blizzard of submissions, dating back to December 22, 2016.
It didn’t take long before we realized why we had passed on them. Most of Mangal’s writings embraced a rigidly narrow view of the war in Syria. The crux of her works read like regime-sponsored press releases. There was no nuance to the writing and few told the story from a war victim’s perspective. Virtually all exalted Russia’s military prowess and the tenacity of the Assad regime, as if she was embedded within the Syrian Army.
...
What was this Inside Syria Media Center all about? We had never heard of it before. The site claims to be an “independent medium that contributes to peace in Syria,” but would a truly independent outlet openly express their admiration for Assad with a #WeLoveYourBashar and #StillMyPresident on its Twitter page? You don’t hear that kind of unbridled sycophancy from Sputnik and RT.
...
We repeatedly attempted to schedule a chat with Mangal via Skype. Four times to be exact. Mangal initially emailed to say she couldn’t speak via Skype because she was in the mountains of Syria with a bad internet connection — hey, but thanks for the gesture, she said.
Yet, here she was, emailing us and dispatching her work across the web. She was even sending photos along with her pieces. How poor could her internet connection be? Activist and scholar Dr. Hawzhin Azeez spoke with CounterPunch Radio host Eric Draitser for an hour from war-torn Syria last year and we have writers in Syria who are able to communicate with us when needed.
...
Mangal, much like Alice Donovan, seemed to have appeared out of thin air. There are no tracks of her days as a college student. There are no podcast appearances, radio or video interviews promoting her work as a reporter, almost de rigeuer activities for contemporary journalists. ISMC has posted many videos from Syria, none feature any of their writers, either interviewing anyone or being interviewed.
...
The first online trace of Mangal we could find is from November 2016, when she authored an article titled “Syria ISIS-Daesh Terrorists’ Financing Schemes Unveiled”, which was published at ISMC and Global Research, among others. That’s a pretty eye-popping story to break for your debut as an international correspondent. Even Seymour Hersh started out as a lowly beat reporter for the City News Bureau in Chicago.
...
She appeared to remain an editor until we attempted to talk to her via Skype. After our last attempt to schedule a conversation on December 15, her name was suddenly removed from ISMC’s contact page, though it remains on the contributors page (see below.) Around this time, Mangal also deleted her Facebook page. Soon after our piece on Alice Donovan was published on Christmas Day, which named Mangal as the victim of Donovan’s cut-and-paste theft, Mangal’s name was scrubbed from the bylines at ISMC for every article she had written.
...
What was going on? Mangal’s pieces weren’t being removed, just reassigned to a simple “ISMC” byline. (...) So we were forced to drop an email to the site’s chief-editor, Mariam Al-Hijab. After several attempts and days of waiting, we threw in the towel. No response.
...
So we reached out to ISMC’s other most prolific writer, Anna Jaunger, who is so astoundingly productive that she regularly churns out 3 or 4 stories a day. We noticed her pace of filing dispatches increased after Mangal faded away.
Again, we heard nothing. We sensed a pattern developing.
...
On her Twitter page, Jaunger describes herself as an Austrian journalist working (“I love my job!”) for ISMC. Her work has been published by Global Research, Off Guardian, Information Clearinghouse, Dissident Voice and many other media outlets. We discovered she presents something of a façade as well. The profile photo on Jaunger’s Twitter page is actually a photograph of a woman named Anna Buxton from London, which was lifted directly from an employee directory at a company called LaSalle Investment Management.
...
One of the first individuals to promote the Facebook group was a journalist named Said Al-Khalaki, who also wrote some of the earliest content for ISMC and is an administrator for the Facebook group. Al-Khalaki did not respond to a request for comment.
Strangely, after we attempted to reach out to Al-Khalaki, his bylines at Inside Syria Media Center were also changed to the generic “ISMC”. (Here’s a piece by Al-Khalaki that appeared at Veteran’s Today and also at ISMC. Note the byline discrepancies.) Al-Khalaki’s online work dates back to at least 2013.
...
The architects of COINTELPRO themselves couldn’t have devised a more insidious way to discredit the anti-war movement. This time, however, the wounds may be largely self-inflicted.

Now look at the sort of interviews RT conducts. In the first 2016 Ofcom finding, they interviewed three people on Turkey's treatment of the Kurds. All three were pro-Kurdish.
Between June 2015 and June 2016, RT interviewed disproportionately many UKIP MEPs on European issues. (Compare with the EPP, the largest group in the EP.) There's no reason to suspect these interviewees of insincerity, or of being told what to say. If you ask a UKIP MEP about the EU, you know what answer you'll get.
RT interviews people whose beliefs validate the Kremlin's narrative, thus solving the lack of "English-speaking talking heads". Often, what's important is what gets left out. Not all RT's coverage is direct propaganda. Some is aimed at building an audience, to "make use of" in "critical moments", such as war. In "critical moments", RT adopts Russian government language, such as speaking of the Ukrainian "coup" in 2014. RT called the Russian special forces in Crimea "self-defence squads" long after they were exposed. This isn't journalism: it's information warfare. The difference is what made people like @lizwahl leave.
RT loyalists accuse Wahl of resigning to boost her career, suggesting that the way to succeed as an RT journalist is to leave. In the UK, MPs such as @DavidGauke and @RhonddaBryant have called out RT for what it is. Others, not so much.

Bolj nekako v stilu Foxa.

We recently went to Moscow to meet with the head of RT, Margarita Simonyan. We arrived just as the Justice Department was insisting that RT register as a foreign agent in the United States under an 80-year-old law enacted to expose Nazi propaganda. And Simonyan was scalding mad.
Margarita Simonyan: Should we close American media in Russia because they're all anti-Putin and they wage campaigns against him every single day? Should we close them? You tell me.
Lesley Stahl: No one's closing you. No one's closing you.
Margarita Simonyan: What they're doing is destroying our reputation. Should we do the same thing here in Russia to all the American media? They're all anti-Putin. Should we do that? Probably should, shouldn't we?
...
Margarita Simonyan: We wanted a CNN of our own. You can put it in these words. That would be true, I can't deny it.
Lesley Stahl: Let me tell you what U.S. intelligence agencies say about RT. And I'm talking about the CIA, FBI, and NSA. They describe you as a weapon in an information war.
Margarita Simonyan: All the Russian intelligence agencies call the American media the same. I think that's what the intelligence agencies do. I think it's pretty much their job.
She dismisses the U.S. intelligence report that assesses "with high confidence that…Putin ordered an influence campaign…aimed at the U.S…election" and that RT, "Russia's state-run propaganda machine contributed to the influence campaign..."
...
Lesley Stahl: Let's talk about Russian interference in our election.
Margarita Simonyan: Uh-huh.
Lesley Stahl: Which our intelligence agencies tell us happened. And—I believe...
Margarita Simonyan: And you believe them. Just like you believe that they were weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. Didn't you believe that? Continue to believe that Russian interference in American elections happened. In five years, you will know that it didn't.
//Gaslighting.
...
Lesley Stahl: In 2012, you said that Russia needs RT the same way it needs a Defense Ministry. And you've also said, RT was fighting, quote, "An information war against the whole Western world."
Margarita Simonyan: I am not at any kind of war. I have two children. I'm a journalist. I've been a journalist ever since I was 18.
...
Lesley Stahl: You're telling me you didn't invade Crimea?
Margarita Simonyan: No we did not. You call it invasion.
Lesley Stahl: Well, what do you call it?
Margarita Simonyan: We call it the free will of the people.
...
RT says that in the U.S. it has begun facing repercussions from Silicon Valley: YouTube downgraded their preferred channel status and Twitter banned RT ads from their platform. And the Justice Department has labeled RT a foreign agent, moves, says the fiery Margarita Simonyan - that fly in the face of the U.S. Constitution's Freedom of the Press.
Margarita Simonyan: Don't you represent the country that had always told us that difference of opinion is good. What happened to that? What happened to the American way?
Lesley Stahl: If you register as a foreign agent, you still are protected by the First Amendment and there is still no censorship.
Margarita Simonyan: That's not true.
Lesley Stahl: So why--
Margarita Simonyan: That's not true.
Lesley Stahl: That is true.
Margarita Simonyan: No that's not true because effectively not a lot of people would like to work being labeled a foreign agent. The same thing will happen to American media in Russia. Exactly the same. And we will see how many people will still work for American media in Russia--
Lesley Stahl: So you--
Margarita Simonyan: --being labeled a foreign agent.
Lesley Stahl: --you're gonna retaliate.
Margarita Simonyan: Not me. The Russian government--
Lesley Stahl: Will retaliate.
Margarita Simonyan: --definitely will. Yes. They've already said that.

A Russian historian whose exposure of Soviet leader Josef Stalin’s crimes angered state officials is due to begin enforced psychiatric testing this week amid fears he will be falsely declared insane, his lawyer said on Tuesday.
Yuri Dmitriev, 61, is on trial in northwest Russia on charges brought by state prosecutors of involving his adopted daughter, then 11, in child pornography, of illegally possessing “the main elements of” a firearm, and of depravity involving a minor.
Some of Russia’s leading cultural figures say Dmitriev was framed because his focus on Stalin’s crimes - he found a mass grave with up to 9,000 bodies dating from the Soviet dictator’s Great Terror in the 1930s - jars with the latter-day Kremlin narrative that Russia must not be ashamed of its past.
...
A previous psychiatric evaluation declared him to be of sound mind and a court-sanctioned expert group found no pornographic content in nine photographs of his daughter that are at the center of the case against him, overturning the earlier findings of other experts commissioned by prosecutors.
But on Dec. 27, in an unexpected twist, the court ordered that the same nine photos be re-examined by experts for a third time. It also granted the prosecution’s request that Dmitriev undergo enforced psychiatric testing to determine whether he has “sexual deviations.”
...
Dmitriev was flown to Moscow at the end of last year to be evaluated at a psychiatric clinic, the Serbsky Centre, that was infamous in Soviet times for providing false testimony to allow the authorities to lock up dissidents in psychiatric facilities.
...
State TV broadcast last year what it billed as an expose of Dmitriev and of Memorial, the organization for which he worked, complaining that foreign money was being used to provide a distorted and overly negative version of Russian history.
...
Anufriev, Dmitriev’s lawyer, said he was worried.
“Perhaps if they can’t convict him (of child pornography) they need to declare him insane,” the lawyer said. “It’s a purely Soviet procedure. Make accusations and then end things by locking someone up in a psychiatric facility.”

In case you missed it when it was happening, would you like to hear a story about that time @WikiLeaks attacked brave investigative journalists for exposing Vladimir Putin's corruption? Follow along.
In 2015 an anonymous source leaked a massive trove of tax haven data to the German newspaper @SZ. This was #PanamaPapers. It was an ABSURD amount of data. So SZ enlisted help from an international network of investigative journalists @ICIJ, who shared it further. In all, reporters working at over 100 media organizations, in 25 languages, collaborated on #PanamaPapers, and reported on dozens of huge scandals around the world. One of these partner organizations is @OCCRP, and does reporting on organized crime. In 2016, OCCRP, in collaboration with a Russian newspaper that's critical of the Kremlin, Novaya Gazeta, broke several stories about Putin. Most were specifically about Sergei Roldugin, a cellist and businessman who also happens to be Putin's best friend
https://www.occrp.org/en/panamapapers/p...
Roldugin was linked to 3 offshore companies that laundered up to $2 billion since the 1970s. One scandal showed that $230 million that was stolen from Russian tax payers in 2007 was actually laundered through offshore accounts, and ended up in Roldugin's account. Putin was not pleased. And neither, is seems, was the "transparency organization" WikiLeaks. WikiLeaks noticed that OCCRP (a non-profit of international journalists) received funding from the Open Society Foundation (Soros's foundation) and USAID (US government).
A non-profit receiving grants from US gov/Soros is ALL the proof WikiLeaks needed. Julian put on his conspiracy cap and took to twitter, claiming that the integrity of OCCRP is "seriously undermined" because US gov "directly funded" this "attack on Putin".
This didn't matter though. WikiLeaks decided to defend Putin instead of the Russian investigate journalists that were exposing his corruption. Hmm... 🤔
(BTW, Reporters Without Borders placed Russia at #148 out of 180 in press freedom index in 2016)
But even if WL's conspiracy theory were true, and the US funded OCCR specifically to attack Putin, so what? Doesn't WL argue that it doesn't matter who their source for DNC emails are as long as the docs are real? The hypocrisy is strong.
The day after WL attacked the journalists, Putin himself cited WL's conspiracy to dismiss the scandal. "Besides," Putin said, "we now know from WikiLeaks that officials and state agencies in the United States are behind all this."
https://www.nytimes.com/2016/09/01/worl...
While it's not clear if WikiLeaks has some sort of direct relationship with the Kremlin, it is abundantly clear that Julian Assange is a Putin fanboy, and that he doesn't actually give a shit about government transparency if the government in question is Russia.

@wikileaksThe next day, WikiLeaks tweeted another attack, again saying that the Russian journalists, who were exposing Putin's corruption within Russia, lacked integrity
The US OCCRP can do good work, but for the US govt to directly fund the #PanamaPapers attack on Putin seriously undermines its integrity.
@wikileaksTo be clear: The corruption was real. It was backed up by legitimate leaked documents. There's no evidence that the US gov had anything to do with these Putin stories, or that they knew Putin's friends were in the Panama Papers at all, before the stories were published.
US govt funded #PanamaPapers attack story on Putin via USAID. Some good journalists but no model for integrity.

The day after WL attacked the journalists, Putin himself cited WL's conspiracy to dismiss the scandal. "Besides," Putin said, "we now know from WikiLeaks that officials and state agencies in the United States are behind all this."

While it's not clear if WikiLeaks has some sort of direct relationship with the Kremlin, it is abundantly clear that Julian Assange is a Putin fanboy, and that he doesn't actually give a shit about government transparency if the government in question is Russia.

Hihihi - Amerikanci preimenovali ulico, v kateri je ruska Ambasada v Washingtonu v "ulico Borisa Nemcova". (ubiti ruski opozicionar)

Okej.
No, glede na rusko TV so možni "povračilni ukrepi"
Julius & Ethel Rosenberg
Edward Snowden
Chelsea Manning

Ja, na misel mi takoj pride *Kosovo z vsemi ulicami, bulevarji (ahahaha!) in spomeniki Cljintonu in Oljbrajtovi, Waljkerju, Cljarcku, itd, itd...
