1) domačo: Čez 2 tedna so volitve, Musk pa je pred kratkim precej fasciniral rusko javnost. Ukrainian state-owned energy firm Naftogaz said on Wednesday Russia’s Gazprom would have to pay it $2.56 billion after a Stockholm court found in Naftogaz’s favour in the final stage of a long-running legal battle.

“Naftogaz was awarded damages of $4.63 billion for Gazprom’s failure to deliver the agreed transit gas volumes,” Naftogaz spokeswoman Olena Osmolovska said. There was no immediate comment from Gazprom.
Since the court previously ordered Naftogaz to pay Gazprom for gas supply arrears, the net payment Gazprom will have to make to Ukraine is $2.56 billion, Osmolovska said.

“Naftogaz was awarded damages of $4.63 billion for Gazprom’s failure to deliver the agreed transit gas volumes,” Naftogaz spokeswoman Olena Osmolovska said. There was no immediate comment from Gazprom.
Since the court previously ordered Naftogaz to pay Gazprom for gas supply arrears, the net payment Gazprom will have to make to Ukraine is $2.56 billion, Osmolovska said.

Russian state-run gas giant Gazprom will not start shipments of natural gas to Ukraine's Naftogaz starting March 1 after sides failed to reach an agreement, the company’s deputy chairman, Alexander Medvedev, told journalists.
Medvedev said that Gazprom had refunded the entire prepayment received from Ukrainian state gas monopoly Naftogaz for the gas that was to be delivered this month. The decision came as the sides reportedly failed to extend a supplemental agreement to the current gas contract.

In response, Ukraine's state monopoly said that Gazprom had failed to deliver prepaid gas. Naftogaz is reportedly planning to claim damages for supply failure from the Russian energy major.

Naftogaz and Poland’s PGNiG have signed a contract for urgent gas supplies following the yesterday’s Gazprom’s decision to refuse starting supply of gas to Naftogaz, which happened a day after the announcement of the award of the Stockholm Tribunal.
The contract with PGNiG is effective until the end of March 2018. The contracted volume totals over 60 mcm. The delivery started today at 6 a.m. through Hermanowice node that connects Polish and Ukrainian gas transmission systems.
“The current situation around gas supply proves that our focus on diversification of supplies was the right decision. Thanks to our Polish partners, yet another attempt of Moscow to use gas as a political weapon against Ukraine has failed. I hope that the EU and governments of the relevant member states will consider this case when making their final decision on Nord Stream 2 ,” commented Naftogaz CEO Andriy Kobolyev.

Ukrajina pa ni zanesljiv partner pri prenosu plina in je nezanesljiv plačnik. Tako trdi sodišče, ne jaz.
Glede Gazpromove zanesljivosti bi šlo raje vprašati Nemce kot pa Ukrajince, ki trdijo, da so z Rusijo v vojni.
