In da ne bo pomote: razumemo tudi, od kod bodo spet prišli novi trilijoni. Tako kot vedno. Dovolj je, da se najde primeren izgovor, naj bo to finančna kriza, energetska kriza ali vojna. Račun pa na koncu še vedno pristane pri istih ljudeh

BREAKING: TSMC looking to build six fabs in Texas
TSMC is reported to be considering an investment in Texas which could be bigger than its planned $265 billion investment in Arizona
Texas' 'Silicon Prairie' already has TI, Samsung and Terafab among numerous chip plants and their suppliers. Texas's other advantages are energy which is readily available and comparatively cheap, low state taxes, generous state aid via the Texas Semiconductor Innovation Fund and proximity to customers.
Texas also has the engineering universities Texas A&M and the University of Texas at Austin, which are building out advanced packaging and semiconductor research infrastructure specifically tailored to train the next generation of technicians and engineers.
Additionally there are Rice University at Houston, Texas Tech University at Lubbock, the University of Texas at Dallas, Arlington and Tyler and the University of Houston. 75% of TSMC's customers are in the USA so expansion there seems logical.

Noro!!! Kot kaže bodo duplicirali projekt iz Arizone kjer gradijo 12 Fabov, če jih še 12 zgradijo v Teksasu bo pa to že resna zadeva. Musk poleg tega gradi tisto svojo Tera Fab in je kot kaže s tem v bistvu prisilil TSMC v nove masovne investicije da ne izgubijo Ameriškega trga. Trenutno je v Arizoni v zraku skoraj 35 cranes. ZDA gradijo kot utrgane.

South Korea has selected a gas-fired power station in Encinal, Texas, as the first project under its wider $350bn US investment pledge, with the project valued at $22.3bn. The power plant is set to have total installed capacity of 6.3GW and is aimed at helping address increasing electricity demand from a rising number of semiconductor plants and artificial intelligence data centres in Texas.

President Donald Trump is set to unveil South Korea’s plan to invest some $200 billion in the US, including $54 billion for a long-stalled venture to export natural gas from Alaska that’s been championed by a Republican senator in a tight reelection contest.
The planned announcement, described by people familiar with the matter who asked not to be named, represents a first tranche of projects to win support under last year’s US-South Korea trade deal, which included a pledge of $350 billion in US investment. The announcement is expected to be made by Trump on Wednesday in the Oval Office, the people said.
Korea’s backing is likely to be crucial to develop the project to transport natural gas across Alaska and enable most of it to be exported to Asian buyers. Other energy ventures, including nuclear projects, are set to lure some of Korea’s investments, people familiar with the matter said.
