Google News - Spletna trgovina Amazon.com ponuja 1,57 odstotkov popusta pri nakupu vseh izdelkov, če postanete registriran uporabnik njihovega novega spletnega iskalnika A9.com. Registracija je brezplačna, zato želi podjetje s popustom iskalnik približati širši javnosti. Kljub temu da iskalnik vrača kar Googlove rezultate iskanja, ponuja precej inovativnih rešitev. Tako lahko hkrati iščemo spletne strani, slike, podatke o filmih, knjige ipd. Uporabna je tudi zgodovina iskanja in zaznamki, poskrbeli so tudi za orodno vrstico A9, pa tudi Firefoxova razširitev za iskalnik je že na voljo.
Se po brskalnikih skorajšnja druga svetovna vojna obeta tudi iskalnikom?

In 1996, the project was incorporated in the United Kingdom to form Internet Movie Database Ltd., and banner ads were added to the web site.
In April 1998, the company was bought by Amazon.com, the current owner; however, a number of the original creators, including Needham, remained as site managers.
