I have heard of people running at bus speeds as high as 155MHz, I was not so lucky. My board would run solid with a bus of 146MHz, but would not even post with a bus speed of 147MHz. However I did find some multiplier/bus speeds together caused instability. My Athlon 750, was stable at 10.5x101MHz, but was not stable at 10.5x100MHz. It was also not stable at 7x142MHz, but was at 7.5x142MHz. I have no explanation for this.
