We've updated the modding guide for Legend of the Zone Enhanced Edition, adding tools that enable you to work directly with configs, shaders, and other game resources to create and publish your mods on the Steam Workshop.
Packing config files and shaders is now possible. The guide includes step-by-step instructions for preparing your mods, along with descriptions of the new toolset, opening the way for deeper manipulation of the game's structure.
This is just the first step. We're working towards enabling modification of all game resources in the future. Both the guide and available tools will continue to evolve and expand.

v1.7 - S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Enhanced Edition
The Enhanced Editions of the STALKER series come with a new version of the X-Ray engine. It runs exclusively on DirectX12, is 64-bit, and has improved multithreading compared to previous versions. It also has support for game consoles and temporal anti-aliasing and image reconstruction techniques such as FidelityFX Super Resolution as well as Frame Generation.

-- Reload Stages are coming. This means Skif will be able to continue his reload from where he left off if the player interrupts the animation.
-- Ammo is getting a small rework for Sniper Rifles and Machine Guns
-- Custom difficulty, with sliders, is being discussed internally by the team - but without certainty that it's coming yet.
-- Mutant "sponginess" is a big topic internally, and GSC is tackling the issue carefully and working on balancing them right.
-- Ultrawide fixes are coming with 1.5
-- Seems like ZoneKit will be coming at the same date as Patch 1.5 (Modding tools)

Kot je meni znano trenutno ne obstaja multithread-ready xray engine, z izjemo mogoče posodobljenega xraya iz enhanced edition, ampak nisem uspel še stestirat. Kar pa je uspelo modderjem naredit je fork iz 32bit na 64bit arhitekturo.
Anomaly sicer recimo uporablja njihov lasten fork in sicer Monolith 64-bit engine.

Stestirat kaj točno? Multithreading al kateri engine je?
Prvo stestiraš z običnim CPU metrom, drugo boš pa težko testiral brez vpogleda v kodo.
(razen če se engine sam podpiše v task manager)
