Nakup LCD zaslona

Pozdravljeni,

namen imam kupiti LCD zaslon, za priklop na prenosnik. Prenosnik ima grafično kartico Geforce Go 7300 in samo VGA izhod. Kakšna je lahko maksimalna resolucija zaslona, ki jo grafična kartica podpira. Gledal sem 24" LCD zaslone, ki imajo resolucijo 1920 x 1080 - a bi to šlo?

Jaz imam 24" monitor znamke AOC ki ima vga prikluček in resolucijo 1920x1080.

Sem pa našel nekoga ki ima podoben problem in to so mu odgovorili:

Although the 7300 is capable of outputting the said resolution, you are using a card on the laptop. Although the 7300 is able, there is not any type of I/O that will (certainly) guarantee it will output 1920x1080 through VGA. You will probably be able to get 1360x768 through VGA, but 1920x1080 I doubt.

Gimme a few and I will try to hook up my laptop to my HDTV.

EDIT- just tested it with my laptop. I was only able to get up to 1600x1200 (horribly scaled). Other resolution options were 1360x768, 1280x720 and lower. The 720p didn't look too bad, but it won't be 1080.
