Katera igra ala terminal velocity?
frenk ::
Poleg tega iščem tud kašno igro ala sub culture in x beyond the frontier.

You fuck up once, you loose two teeth.

I think you are wrong, is not same as Descent... I can´t remember flying over open surfaces in that one. In TV you fly mainly over open surface, which makes the flying experience very different but... what´s the hell... I don´t care, It´s a good game and I recommend you to try it...
This is STILL one of the greatest games in the genre.
It WAS a pioneer in the field... outdoor areas hadn't previously been created to this extent, and if they had, they were heavily restricted attempts at that.
Terminal Velocity (i own the original CD version) is a game that is notable for a few reasons.
1) One of the first games to be almost entirely based on flying in an outdoor environment... it is NOT a Descent rip-off- as great a game as Descent was, it was a true 3D version of doom with even more corridors and robots instead of hell-spawn. The gameplay mechanics of both Descent and TV are COMPLETELY different beasts, no two ways about it.
2) One of the first games to TRULY offer pentium owners something to brag about, when talking differences between the game running on a 486... great (for the time) lighting, effects etc... and a game style that inspired many a game developer (or was ripped off completely... Hellbender and Fury3???).
3) Was also one of the first games where the combo of Mouse and Keyboard really came together and became absolutely essential in honing you TV piloting skills. The 3D engine was also an extremely hot piece of work when this was released.
This is the original, genre expanding release... it's worrying to see Fury3 rating higher on this site, than this, as it is essentially a straight rip-off, and an inferior product (it's hard for me to have any respect for the game, as it was released a few months after this, and held no TRULY original redeeming features whatsoever).
Gameplay in TV becomes second nature after about an hour, and even though the games gets slightly repetitive eventually, the way the game is so excellently executed is testament to how great the gameplay is.
Atmosphere is second to none in a game from this era of gaming, sound is brilliant and the music was something truly special (even moreso in the deluxe CD version).
The online play was also really, REALLY addictive.
No two ways about it... this game was a genre leading, pioneer in the field and holds an immense cult following. It RIGHTFULLY deserves to be called a classic...
Terminal Velocity still rips the shit to this day... one of the greatest games ever made. Period.
This is way better than Descent, It doesn't make your head go funny if you play it lots.
