Kje kupit Windows XP Pro in koliko stane?

Ne sprašujem po DSP ali drugih verzijah. Govorim o Windows XP, ki bi jih kupil za "polno ceno", ne da potrebujem kupovat komponente al računalnik. In kje bi našel to verzijo najceneje? Mislim, da je v Sloveniji kar konkretno drago to (mislim da sn vido ceno okol 100k). Najbolše bi blo kupit kar na MS strani ?

Jst mam doma ene par komadom win xp pro nove in zapakirane ! Sm jih nekje staknu ene par komadov samo jih se nism probu instalerat! So pa win xp pro SP1 + slovenski dodatek(da mas poslovenjeno verzijo).

Windows genuine offer je posebna ponudba, v bistvu namenjena lovljenju prodajalcev nelegalne opreme. Kakor jaz to razumem, obstajati dve varianti: če vam je prodajalec zaračunal windowse kot originalne, z ponarejenim CD-jem, ponarejeno nalepko itd.., vam Microsoft brezplačno pošlje nove, originalne Windowse. Pogoj pa je, da pošljete Microsoftu kopijo računa, ponarejeni CD in poročilo o nakupu (da potem oni lahko preganjajo tega prodajalca). Če računa, CD-ja in reporta nimate, vam Microsoft po plačilu 158 (XP Home) oziroma 230 dolarjev (XP Pro) pošlje samo kodo in kit za legalizacijo. Piše pa tudi, da stvari prodaja samo MD direktno, reselerji pa ne.

The Microsoft genuine Windows offer is designed to help customers who unknowingly purchased counterfeit versions of Microsoft Windows XP (Professional or Home Edition), by offering those who qualify a complimentary copy or electronic license key for a genuine copy of Microsoft Windows XP.

2. Who can participate in the genuine Microsoft Windows offer?

Customers will be required to submit a proof of purchase, the counterfeit CD, and a counterfeit report with details of their purchase. * Electronic License Key Offer: Microsoft will offer an alternative for customers who find out via the WGA validation process that they are not running genuine Windows, but do not qualify for, or choose not to take advantage of, the complimentary offer. These customers will be able to license a Windows Genuine Advantage Kit for Windows XP online for a price of $158 (inclusive of GST) for Windows XP Home edition or $238 (inclusive of GST) for Windows XP Professional. The Windows Genuine Advantage Kit for Windows XP will include a new 25-character Product Key and a Windows Product Key Update tool that will allow customers to convert their counterfeit copy to genuine Windows XP electronically

4. What do customers receive when they order the genuine Windows offer from Microsoft?

* Customers who qualify for the complimentary offer will receive a copy of Microsoft Windows Genuine Advantage Kit for Windows XP in the mail within four to six weeks of their order. The Windows Genuine Advantage Kit contains a CD with a new 25-character Product Key. Customers should reinstall their Windows and reactivate their PCs using the CD and the new Product Key.
* Customers who request the electronic license offer will receive via email, upon confirmation of payment, their new 25-character Product Key and instructions on how to download the Windows Product Key Update Tool. Customers will also receive a Windows Genuine Advantage Kit for Windows XP CD via postal mail within two to four weeks of their confirmed order.

11. How is the Windows Genuine Advantage Kit for Windows XP different from the product available from resellers?
Windows Genuine Advantage Kit for Windows XP is packaged differently, and is distributed directly by Microsoft only to customers who qualify for the genuine Windows offer. It is not intended for resale.

12. What can I use for proof of purchase?
Because purchase documentation varies widely, we are flexible. Proof of purchase can be a purchase order, the original supplier invoice, or other store receipt. The proof of purchase needs to show the supplier's name and address, date of purchase, and must include a reference to Windows.

13. What must a customer provide on the counterfeit report?
The counterfeit report helps Microsoft identify the reseller and type of counterfeit software transaction that took place. The information that is required on the report is as follows: was the copy of Windows software preinstalled, where was it purchased (Web, street vendor, store, etc), reseller name, did you receive a CD and a Certificate of Authenticity (COA), price paid, and date of purchase. The customer must also provide their shipping address so Microsoft can send them a Windows Genuine Advantage Kit for Windows XP CD.

14. Why does Microsoft need this information?
Microsoft is collecting information on counterfeit sellers in order to get information on illegal practices and to work with authorities to enforce anti-piracy policies and laws. The counterfeit report will be treated by Microsoft as confidential. Microsoft devotes substantial time and energy toward fighting software counterfeiting, and customers can be assured that we will take appropriate action in response to their report.


18. Can customers order the genuine Microsoft Windows offer from a reseller?
The genuine Windows offer is distributed directly by Microsoft to Windows XP customers who have received counterfeit Windows software and qualify for the offer. It is not available for resale.

26. Will people who participate in the genuine Microsoft Windows offer face repercussions for having illegal software?

@mtosev, fajn to, da si izvedu postopek preko BUY NOW. Sam nisem nikdar prišel dlje kot do zgornjega linka (imam pač vse legalno in na mojih mašinah tega ne pokaže), za druge pa itak nisem izvajal tega postopka. Vendar, če gledam FAQ si moral nekje vmes vseeno izpolniti en vprašalnik kjer navedeš preprodajalca, način in ceno nakupa,
Precej nižja cena in retail verzija je očitno nagrada za kakršnokoli informacijo, da se dokopljejo do nekega pirata/prodajalca ali ponarejevalca.

Pa še EULA za to verzijo je hudo zanimiva:

Torej lahko celo prestaviš te XPje na drugo mašino, samo izbrišeš na prejšnji.

Še povej, če se spomniš ali tisto prijavo pirata lahko zaobideš ali kar z nečim zapolniš ?

Tudi sam sem po formatu računalnika poskusil z enim starim XP CD - sicer se je vse instaliralo in vse delalo, nisem pa mogel instalirati IE7 beta.

Ko sem takrat v tisti proceduri pri WGA preverjenju označil, da želim kupiti licenčne Windows XP Professional je bilo kot že povedano - cena je bila 131 EUR, plačal sem z Eurocard kartico (bila je sobota zvečer), v ponedeljek popoldne sem na svoj mail dobil novo registracijosko kodo skupaj z linkom na program, ki mi je v registru avtomatično to kodo zamenjal (kodo dobiš takoj ko sprovedejo plačilo po kartici). Vse je delalo v prvo.

Še isti teden v četrtek se je oglasil še DHL s paketom v katerem je originalni instalacijski CD za Windows XP (angleški), glede na račun, pa je bil poslan iz Microsoft Nemčije.
To je vse - 131 EUR z dostavo vred in nič več.

Brez vprašanj, kje sem dobil prejšnjo verzijo, kaj delam in koliko imam številko noge...

A dobiš pol še visto zastonj, ko pride vn? Ker je bla neka podobna akcija. Sicer pa se strinjam, da je ugodno - pa še lažje spiš potem (no ja jst že zdej lepo spim )
