Če ste na Telemachu, se vsaj meni, spletne strani odpirajo mnogo hitreje (konsistentno) kot z njihovim DNS, ki mi ne dela stabilno in nekatere strani resolva tudi po 5-10 sekund.

Kako ti dela? Jaz bi rekel, da sicer ni neke razlike, vendar po tednu dni, imam občutek, da se strani odpirajo konsistento hitro. Na telemachovem DNSju sem dostikrat gledal loading "ads.*", pri quad9 pa nimam spomina, da bi kdaj "zaštekalo" za 10-20 sekund, kot se mi je to dogajalo prej.

Dodatni security je pa itak velik plus, ker več ne uporabljam AV (oz. samo Windows Defender).

Quad9's DNS promises to check websites visited by users against the IBM X-Force threat intelligence database, as well as 18 additional databases, and will detect and automatically block access to known malicious websites.

Moreover, Quad9 promises not to collect, store or sell any information about your browsing habits - protections that would have been standard in the US anyway, had Congress and the White House not already sold out the American consumer.

Beri: "promised not" kot "we are selling", ampak upam, da samo Tričkrovnim Agencijam Murice (TAM :)) in ne oglaševalcem. Žal so koristi še vedno na naši strani, sploh ko/če izdajo poročilo koliko "preventiv" so izvedli. (In je stvar dejansko pozitivna, seveda.)
