It's been over 2077 days since we announced our plan to develop Cyberpunk 2077. We released a CGI trailer, gave some interviews and... went dark. Normal procedure for these kinds of things - you announce a game and then shut up, roll up your sleeves, and go to work. We wanted to give you The Witcher 3 and both expansions first, which is why this period of staying silent was longer than we planned. Sorry for that.

As soon as we concluded work on Blood and Wine we were able to go full speed ahead with CP2077's pre-production. But we chose to remain silent. Why? At some point, we made a decision to resume talking about the game only when we have something to show. Something meaningful and substantial. This is because we do realise you've been (im)patiently waiting for a very long time, and we wouldn't want anyone to feel that we're taking this for granted. On the contrary - it gives us a lot of extra motivation. The hype is real, so the sweat and tears need to be real, too :).

But to the point. Today is the day. If you're seeing this, it means you saw the trailer - our vision of Cyberpunk, an alternative version of the future where America is in pieces, megacorporations control all aspects of civilised life, and gangs rule the rest. And, while this world is full of adrenaline, don't let the car chases and guns mislead you. Cyberpunk 2077 is a true single player, story-driven RPG. You'll be able to create your own character and..., well, you'll get to know the rest from what we show at our booth at E3. Be on the lookout for previews!

Before we finish, you probably have some questions, right?

When? When we told you we would only release the game when it's ready, we meant it. We're definitely much, much closer to a release date than we were back then :), but it's still not the time to confirm anything, so patience is still required. Quality is the only thing that drives us - it's the beauty of being an independent studio and your own publisher.

How big? Seriously big, but..., to be honest, we have no bloody clue at this point in time. Once we put it all together, we will openly tell you what you can expect. And we promise we'll do this before we start talking about any pre-orders or ask anything of you.

Free DLC/Expansions/DRM? Expect nothing less than you got with The Witcher 3. As for DRM, CP2077 will be 100% DRM-free on PC.

Microtransactions? In a single player role-playing game? Are you nuts? Once again, thank you for your patience. If you have a minute, do visit cyberpunk.net and share your opinion (about anything) with us. We read everything you post and we treat it very seriously.

2077 dni :O A je res že skoraj 6 let odkar smo dobili prvi Trailer? Kako čas leti.

Kar se tiče pa novega trailerja, moram reči, da nisem preveč navdušen. Kaj hudiča, a delajo Grand Theft Auto 6? Sama akcija. Kje je RPG?

Igrali bomo v Kaliforniji v mestu imenovanem Night City, pisalo pa se bo leto 2077. Stopili bomo v čevlje enega kiberpunkovca po imenu V.
Na koncu v trailerju pa je tudi potrditev, da bomo tega V-ja lahko sami skreirali po svojih željah.

Quadra V-Tech je model našega avtomobila iz Trailerja. Tole je očitno umetna inteligenca iz tega futurističnega avta.
Seveda je potrebno najti password, da zadeva zalavfa. Napačen vnos da "Access Denied".
Kot password sicer deluje registrska tablica na avtu, ki jo vidimo na Trailerju. NC20 CP77
Ampak očitno je ta password že pretekel. Dobimo Connection Failed, Password Expired, Credential Expired.
Kakšna ideja za delujoči password? :D

Ko enkrat zalaufaš Witcherja, postane Skyrim smešno otročji in miniaturna zadeva.

Sicer Fallout/ES serije iger niso slabe, ampak so dejansko še par korakov vzadaj glede razvoja, izjema je mogoče NV.


Vidim da nekatere ful moti paleta barv in manjk depresivnega vzdušje. Izgleda, da si nekateri res ne znajo predstavljat cyberpunk žanra brez Blade Runnerja.

  • CD Projekt describes the game as a "first-person RPG."
  • Gameplay is in first a first-person perspective, but switched to third-person during a cutscene.
  • You play a character named V (as in the letter).
  • V can be a man or a woman.
  • The stats you pick at the start include Strength, Constitution, Intelligence, Reflexes, Tech, and Cool.
  • These stats are all pulled from the original tabletop RPG.
  • There are no classes at the start. Instead, you evolve the class you want to be as you play instead of picking a role.
  • You can drive cars in the game, and seemingly toggle between first and third person during this.
  • While driving in first-person, the U.I. appears diegetically on the windshield.
  • You can engage in combat while driving -- AI took over steering as you lean out the window and shoot at enemies.
  • CD Projekt also described Cyberpunk as a "mature experience intended for mature audiences."
  • The goal is for you to not only engage with the game world, but with its inhabitants.
  • Like Witcher, you take missions from NPCs and have dialogue options in conversations.
  • It's an open world that you open up more with "street cred." For example, a specific jacket might raise it by 5%, allowing you access to new places.

  • The UI in the demo is extremely minimal at -- just a light compass and a small quest log.
  • UI expands during combat -- enemies have names, health bars, and what appear to be levels.
  • Some enemies have question marks instead of levels, possibly meaning they're much higher level than you.
  • Damage numbers pop up during combat.
  • There's a bullet-time-like ability that allows you to slow down time.
  • CD Projekt keeps emphasizing that choices have consequences, in the moment and to the world at large.
  • Obstacles have several solutions depending on your skills. For example, V got to a door, but his hacking skill was too low. However, his engineering skill was high enough, so he could open a panel and bypass the door.
  • There's an inspection system lets you look super close at items and learn more about lore.
  • You use an inhaler to heal.
  • Gunplay feels slower than Doom or Borderlands, but faster than Fallout 4.
  • CD Projekt showed off some late-game abilities, including mantis-like blade arms and wall running.

  • Weapons - 3 branches - Power Weapons (heavy hitting/stagger), Tech Weapons (penetrating through cover), Smart Weapons (tracking/following)
  • Vehicles - Motorcycles, Cars, hinted at flying cars.
  • V is a fully voiced character. Both Male and Female completely voiced.
  • V's personality is shaped by player. Backstory and interactions shape V's personality.
  • Cyberpunk is a dark dystopia in the same vein as Witcher 3 being Dark Fantasy
  • Details of the world - everything has a purpose. World design was a huge focus in setting the tone.
  • Night City - in between SF and LA (fictional city). Inspired by both cities.
  • 6 unique districts in the city. Each area has its own feel on top of the base Noir feel
  • Exploration is encouraged.
  • Witcher was horizontally huge, Cyberpunk is vertically huge.
  • You can enter buildings, Mega Buildings exist as well with multiple floors and multiple areas to explore within a single building.
  • No level scaling. 2 forms of XP - Core XP - Main Missions and Street Cred - Side missions
  • Higher Street Cred opens new exclusive vendors and fixers (new jobs)

Patrick Mills: Certainly. Certainly that. There are definitely romantic encounters in the game, both long-lasting romantic situations and also one-night stands, as you saw in the demo.

Le kaj so jim kazali tam notri za zaprtimi vrati?
Vse reakcije so si zelo podobne: "Holy Shit! This game blew my fucking mind to pieces."

Ali je igra res tako neverjetno super in oh in sploh, da ti od navdušenja eksplodirajo možgani, ali pa so se tistih 50 minut v strogo zastraženi sobi učili tekst, ki ga morajo povedati novinarjem ;)

Je pa to že ustaljena praksa od CD Projekt Red, da ob najavi pokažejo demo samo par izbrancem. Ta demo ni namenjen splošni publiki. Pri tretjem Witcherju je bilo enako in ta demo je "ušel" na Net šele dobrega pol leta kasneje.
Če bo torej sreča bomo čez kakšnega pol leta videli ta mind-blowing video. Lahko pa tudi nikoli.

Tudi precej drugih razvijalcev/zaloznikov takole predstavlja zadeve. Imas screening na katerega se moras prijavit. Jaz sem tako recimo videl Fallout: New Vegas in Rage, ki sta bila predstavljena na E3 2010. S tem, da je bil New Vegas ze playable demo, ki si ga lahko malo preigral.

A bo kdo odprl temo za gamescom, kjer bodo zbrani vsi trailerji? Žal nimam časa spremljat in brskat posamično.

Na E3 so za zaprtimi vrati kazali demo z ženskim likom, na Gamescom pa spet za zaprtimi vrati podoben demo z moškim likom, ki je tokrat na drugačen način reševal iste naloge.
Bistveno pa je, da so na vprašanje kdaj bodo ta demo dali v javnost, odgovorili, da zaenkrat sploh še ne razmišljajo da bi ta demo prišel v javnost. Lahko sploh nikoli, če pa že kdaj pa to ne bo prav kmalu. Mogoče enkrat v prihodnosti :P

S tem, da bi dal zdaj demo v javnost, ne bi veliko pridobil. Hype je že tako ogromen.
Edino kar bi se zgodilo, je da bi kasneje vsi jokal o downgrades (kot pri Witcher 3), ker do izida se bo sigurno še kaj spremenilo.

Če bo to šlo po kopitu Deus Ex, samo z večjim, 'živim' svetom in še bolj kompleksnimi mehanikami igranja domišljijskih vlog, zna biti res nekaj posebnega.

Upam samo, da igra ne bo tako poneumljena kot The Witcher 3. Glede na to, da imajo zdaj denarja kot smetja, mislim, da bi si tokrat lahko upali več in naredili igro, ki ne bo 'deep' samo iz narativnega vidika, temveč tudi iz vidika igralnosti. Torej več igralne raznolikosti, kompleksnejše RP mehanike ter brez držanja za roke na vsakem koraku z raznimi generičnimi potegavščinami, ki igrajo igro namesto tebe (quest trackerji, eagle vision/witcher sense, vprašaji na mapi itn.).

Mene zanima kolk bodo sledil pen&paper RPGju po katerem je narejena igra. Tam je bil skill based progression in mixed classes. RPG sam ni bil blazno popularen, ceprav je dozivel tri inkarnacije. Vse skupaj pa se je dogajalo v nekem paralelnem svetu, ki se je branchal tam v drugi polovici sedemdesetih let prejsnjega stoletja.

Najbolj spominja na Deus Ex,ta pravi iz 2000 kar je seveda dobra stvar..Ceprav me prvih par minut ni navdusilo malo kasneje ko pokazejo interaktivnost,odprtost ter mnoge opcije igra kar nahypa.
