kaj ti je napisalo pri inštalaciji driverja?
konfiguracija mi izgleda pravilno...
poglej /var/log/XF86[nekaj]... - tu nekje je log od zadnjega zagona, preberi kaj piše, napake so označene z [EE]. prilepi le relevantne stvari (če gre).

možnosti je seveda še mnogo...

mislim da bo to

na kratko pojdi v konzolo (ctrl+alt+F1), tipkaj brez "#":
[WW] postopek napisan je le za izgradnjo že instaliranega kernel module (driverja) posebej za tvoj sistem
[WW] instaliran mora biti rpm z driverjem in kernel headerji (paket=kernel source)
- login kot root
# init 3
# cd /lib/moduels/fglrx/build_mod
# ./make.sh
# ./make_install.sh
# init 5

če je vse pravilno boš dobil po zagonu make_install.sh opozorilo(warnin) "kernel tainted". bodi pozoren na sporočila pri tem procesu.
Če pa si to že naredil sporoči (je pa rešitev mogoče v dexterjevem linku).

v vsakem primeru pa lahko preiščeš www.rage3d.com - forum - linux

kernel includes at /usr/src/linux/include not found or incomplete
file:/usr/src/linux/include/linux/version.h

nimaš inštaliranih kernel headerjev -> inštaliraj paket "kernel source" (seveda iste verzije kot imaš kernel!) najbolje seveda ker s cdjev iz katerih si inštaliral linux. kateri linux pa imaš?

to pa je težava...
če dobiš točno isto verzijo kernela source pa ga inštaliraš bi šlo, samo ima verjetno mdk kje prirejeno, bom malo pogledal
niti mi ni všeč zadeva, njihova stran...

imam dve rešitvi:
1. najdeš USTREZEN kernel source (ali pa vsaj kernel header-je) - MOGOČE ti bo šlo z default verianto (www.kernel.org)
2. najdeš najnovejši kernel (ti tudi priporočam 2.4.22, na isti strani, ga inštaliraš IN prevedeš - tako boš prepričan da je zadeva združljiva...)

ima kdo boljšo rešitev? meni nobena ni preveč všeč.

pa ime .rpm paketka k vsebuje tvoj kernel

jest sem tudi imel probleme z napakami pri ./make.sh pa ./make_install.sh
pa sem probal vse od 20-8, 20-9 pa gcc sem instaliral

brez napak mi je pa edino naredilo pri kernel-2.4.22-1.2115.nptl.athlon.rpm in kernel-source-2.4.22-1.2115.nptl.i386.rpm (za redhat)

ce dobis ze prevedene za mandrake,fino:|

ups sem pogledal in to je Fedora:)
poglej ce kaj pomaga kernel rpm`s

sem najdu taprav kernel-source, inštaliral in naredil, kot je rekel jlpktnst..
