Ati radeon, Xorg in Xv

MasterMind ::

Danes sem v Kaffeinu probal nastavit, da uporablja XV. Ampak kaj se je zgodilo? En velik KCrash... Si emergam mplayer in tam želim zagnati film z Xv-jem. Kaj mi reče?

vo: X11 running at 1024x768 with depth 24 and 32 bpp (":0.0" => local display)
It seems there is no Xvideo support for your video card available.
Run 'xvinfo' to verify its Xv support and read DOCS/HTML/en/devices.html#xv!
See 'mplayer -vo help' for other (non-xv) video out drivers. Try -vo x11
Error opening/initializing the selected video_out (-vo) device.

Napišem tisto, kar mi mplayer svetuje (xvinfo). In kaj sledi?

gogo@slavko:~$ xvinfo
X-Video Extension version 2.2
screen #0
no adaptors present

In jaz pomislim:"Mogoče nism kej enajblu..". Grem na vsevedoči Google in on mi reče:"Ati je kriv...". :D. In mi tudi reče, naj si posnamem Gatos driverje.. Sam je en problem. Ne morem posnet Gatos driverjev ker imam Xorg... Kaj naj zdaj naredim?

Hvala vsem, ki mi boste pomagali....

Aja,
OS: Gentoo
Grafa: ATI Radeon 9500 PRO
CPU: Athlon (pozabu kolk + ma, vem d ga ma okol 2000 :D)

MasterMind ::

BigWhale ::

Kaj je narobe z mplayerjem?!

MasterMind ::

BTW. Kplayer uporablja mplayer :D. Sam men osebno se mi ne da pisat dolgih ukazov itd. Aja.. Zdej mi pa mplayer pokaže to napako..

VDec: vo config request - 640 x 360 (preferred csp: Planar YV12)
VDec: using Planar YV12 as output csp (no 0)
Movie-Aspect is undefined - no prescaling applied.
VO: [xv] 640x360 => 640x360 Planar YV12
X11 error: BadAlloc (insufficient resources for operation)

Bom probu restartat X če bo kej pomagal... (če nou, bom pa rebootal)

EDIT: Sem resetiral X in je pomagal. Sam nekaj časa mi je pa nehal... (isti problem)

Zgodovina sprememb…

MasterMind ::

What to do now?

# The chipset line is optional in most cases. It can be used to override
# the driver's chipset detection, and should not normally be specified.

# Chipset "generic"

# The Driver line must be present. When using run-time loadable driver
# modules, this line instructs the server to load the specified driver
# module. Even when not using loadable driver modules, this line
# indicates which driver should interpret the information in this section.

Driver "vga"
# The BusID line is used to specify which of possibly multiple devices
# this section is intended for. When this line isn't present, a device
# section can only match up with the primary video device. For PCI
# devices a line like the following could be used. This line should not
# normally be included unless there is more than one video device
# installed.

# BusID "PCI:0:10:0"

# VideoRam 256

# Clocks 25.2 28.3
