Wagner fighter Grey Zone confirms Ukrainian advance, says AFU have successes in numerous areas. Confirms Sukhoy Stavok is certainly taken. So far, most of the things Ukrainians military have said appear true.

Complete blackout in official Russian sources on the Ukrainian counter-offensive. A-tier Telegram sources (Colonelcassad, Solovyev) mostly laughing it off. B-tier sources (Girkin, Wagner) talk about things as they are.

The Chief of General Staff has asked all bloggers and influencers to "shut up" so you're unlikely would hear any definitive news until at least tomorrow. And tomorrow you definitely wouldn’t hear that Kherson is surrounded or liberated. And that’s totally ok.

But you can hear that Ukraine broke through the Russian defense for 10-15 kilometers deep and prepared a strategic bridgehead on the eastern bank of the Ingulets River and that will be a huge success! Especially if the breakthrough funnel is not only deep, but also wide.

In general, in my personal opinion, the main goal of this operation is not the capture of Kherson, but the defeat of the Russian group north of Kherson, right between the Ingulets and Dnipro rivers.

We must to stock up on patience and do not succumb to emotional swings.

Very little information coming out of Kherson Oblast for now. I know people, who're still in Kherson and so far Ukrainian troops aren't there... yet.

The key target for this offensive is to encircle & cut off the russian troops by taking the bridges across the Dnipro river.

This requires Ukrainian forces to advance 25-40 km (depending on which bridge).

Any Ukrainian breakthrough that comes near those distances, and russian forces will flee towards whatever bridge is nearest... creating giant traffic jams, which PzH 2000 and AHS Krab will smite.

Then the russians troops will try to run away on foot... dropping all their gear to lighten their load.

So I will be looking for how deep Ukraine's offensive strikes, and I hope that Ukrainian troops reach the bridges before the fleeing russians, as 20,000+ POWs are a disaster that even putin's propaganda can't lie away.

My thoughts are with the troops - and I hope artillery clears the way for them.

The Ukrainian Air Force has released video showing for the first time ever US-supplied AGM-88 HARM anti-radar missiles being fired from their MiG-29 jets.
