Dokler ima Rusija nafto in plin, ter to kupuje ostali svet, jim bo šlo solidno. Rsazne oligarhe, ki niso bilo po okusu oblasti so prizemljili, pridobivanje surovin (nafta, plin, . . . ) spravili pod nadzor države, tako da so trenutno čisto OK.
Vedno se pa najdejo ljudje, ki hočejo na silo scati proti vetru oz. nasedejo zahodni propagandi o "demokratizaciji" so pač mokri. Zahod rabi "useful idiots" za mešanje dreka po svetu, da doma ne smrdi preveč.

A court in Voronezh acquitted 11 protesters detained on January 23 and 31, including an employee of the local opposition headquarters, Alexei Navalny. All the acquitted were charged with violation of the rules for holding a mass event (part 5 of article 20.2 of the Administrative Code).
"Novaya Gazeta", all these cases were considered by the judge of the Soviet District Court Lilia Vinokurova, who in each case noted that the prosecution "did not provide objective evidence that confirms the guilt of the accused."
The publication also notes that Judge Vinokurova, even when issuing an indictment for participating in the protests, prescribes the minimum punishment.
Another judge of the Sovetskiy District Court of Voronezh, Aleksey Kaveshnikov, according to the newspaper, in March dropped the cases of seven detainees at the rallies.

Medvedev will be reelected in 2012. Putin will continue on as Prime Minister. There will be some staff reshuffling, but nothing will really change. By 2012, the Russian economy should be doing much better. (I expect the same to be true in the U.S., where Obama will likely ride an ‘It’s the Economy, Stupid’ mantra to a second term.)
The 2014 Sochi Olympic Games will not produce any major international embarrassments for Russia. Investigative reporters will have no trouble turning up horror stories about the waste that went into the project and the poverty it ignored alleviating in the surrounding areas, but I don’t expect any Dagestani terrorist attacks or roof collapses to indict the Kremlin for lousy management. As for Russia’s medal count: better than it was in Canada, but still low enough to trigger another slew of articles about the collapse of Soviet sports training.
Sooner or later, Alexei Kudrin will be ousted from his position in the Ministry of Finance. This guy’s name is attached to too many revenue-saving, unpopular budgetary measures for him not become a political liability eventually. I don’t expect him to go the route of Andrei Illarionov, however. He’ll be honorably discharged and put to use in some less public capacity.
The Solidarity Movement will fizzle out within the next few years, to be replaced by the next ‘it’ conglomeration of the very same individuals. Maybe they’ll call it the ‘March of the Raging 31 Dissidents.”

The ex chief doctor of the Omsk hospital that treated @navalny is reported "missing in the forest" for two days, after not returning from a quadro ride. You may remember he was promoted to regional health minister shortly after the poisoning.
If he is not found, this would be the third Omsk hospital doctor who died or went missing after @navalny's treatment. I was skeptical of a connection of any of the prior deaths... but if this incident has no iron-clad innocent explanation, the trend will be hard to ignore.
