Bryan Cranston is finally making his “electric dreams” come true! The Breaking Bad star inked a deal with Amazon to create an anthology series based on the writings of Philip K. Dick. Electric Dreams will team Ronald D. Moore, showrunner of Outlander and Battlestar Galactica, with Justified EP Michael Dinner and Cranston to write and produce ten episodes all based on different short stories by Dick.

Bryan Cranston is finally making his “electric dreams” come true! The Breaking Bad star inked a deal with Amazon to create an anthology series based on the writings of Philip K. Dick. Electric Dreams will team Ronald D. Moore, showrunner of Outlander and Battlestar Galactica, with Justified EP Michael Dinner and Cranston to write and produce ten episodes all based on different short stories by Dick.

They’ve also brought in a roster of seasoned pros and visionaries to write the episodes with credits like Fear And Loathing in Las Vegas, Harry Potter And The Cursed Child, Pacific Rim, and The Night Manager.

In his 53 years on Earth, Philip K. Dick published 44 novels and about 121 short stories, which have been adapted into blockbusters and cinematic classics like Blade Runner, Total Recall, and Minority Report. On the flipside, his stories have made a number of bombs and clunkers, like Next, the Total Recall remake, and the Minority Report TV series.

The Man In The High Castle, an alternative history adaptation from a Dick novel, has been a success for Amazon with a third season planned for late 2017. And the author still has plenty of great material ripe for the picking, like “The Days Of Perky Pat,” the story of nuclear war survivors living in California, clinging to an escapist role-playing game with the titular doll. Or, Faith Of Our Fathers, a portrait of a Communist dictatorship that uses hallucinogenic drugs to keep the populace docile and compliant.

Osebno komaj čakam tole zadevo, saj sem velik fan Philipa K. Dicka, več podrobnosti pa bomo dodajali, ko bodo znane.

Black Mirrorju tole ne seže do gležnjev.
6 delov sem pogledal lanskega oktobra, pa ni noben omembe vreden.

@Izi, to si zdej tak napisal, da si ne upam začet gledat Sej glede na oceno ne more biti nek presežek, tišči me edino to, da gre za kratke zgodbe Philipa K. Dicka, katerega velik fan sem... se pa trinjam rupsi31, da je Black Mirror presežek kar se serij tiče oz. je med tistimi top 20 serijami ever.

Evo tudi jaz sem pogledal celotno sezono in moram reči, da stvar nikakor ni slaba. Kakšna epizoda je average, kakšna pa prav super. Tu pa tam spominja na Black Mirror, če bo še kakšna sezona jo bom seveda pogledal.
