EVERSPACE™ is a rogue-like 3D space shooter with non-linear story-telling from the creators of the critically acclaimed Galaxy on Fire series with million of players and critical acclaim from all around the globe. We have been working on a prototype for more than six months and all screenshots and video footage show actual gameplay. We will launch a Kickstater campaign (nabrali so dobrih 420.000$, sedaj pa je mogoče "backat" na njihovi uradni strani) to co-fund the development of EVERSPACE™ on August, 6. This game run on the Unreal 4 Engine and is capable of using DirectX 11 & 12 features including full-scale dynamic lighting, reflections and tessellation. The sounds effects were created for use with Dolby Surround 5.1.There are fantastic and vast space sims out there featuring super realistic space physics and billions of stars to travel to and that’s totally cool. However, we believe that combining easy-to-pick-up gameplay with AAA-quality graphics and sound with a captivating, non-linear story is something that many of you have still been waiting for. In EVERSPACE we take a more action-focused approach to the core gameplay of a space shooter and combine it with a modern, rogue-like game loop taking you on a challenging journey through an ever-changing, yet beautifully crafted universe full of surprises. Each run will be exciting as you will have to face completely new situations. Your skills, experience and talent for improvisation will be tested continously. By this we keep each part of the game long-lasting and generate lots of individual, meaningful moments for you to experience. Game will also have VR-Support for HTC Vive and Oculus RIFT.

Imate na voljo že alpha verzijo in tudi za beto se je mogoče že prijaviti. Po domače pa gre za simpatično space shooting arkado, kjer lahko izbiramo med 1st person in 3rd person pogledom. Kolikor sem igral se je igralo fino, grafika vredu, za alpha verzijo že kar dobro stvar deluje in izgleda.

Ravno to me pogreje pri srcu, ampak zelo težko verjamem, da bo gameplay 20% tega, kar nam je ponujal Freelancer...

Jaz nisem igral prvega dela.

PARTyZAN ::

Everspace je dokaj grindy rouge-like arkada. V vsakem sektorju imaš omejeno količino časa preden se pojavi flota spaceshipov, ki te povozi. S to mehaniko te silijo v konstantne kratke obiske naključno ustvarjenih sistemov, vmes ti pa sem in tja vržejo kost v obliki narrated dialoga, za podajanje zgodbe. Nabiraš keš in materiale, upgradaš loadout in ob smrti keš zapravljaš za skille in odklep spaceshipov. To je praktično to - igra hitro postane monotona.

Freelancerja sem igral že več kot 15 let nazaj, tako da si ne upam direktno primerjat, ampak na prvo žogo ni preveč podobna izkušnja.
