Pri prenosnih predvajalnikih glasbe je zelo pomembna impedanca slušalk, če ta ni ustrezna, je glasnost slušalk prenizka ali previsoka. Previsoko glasnost seveda lahko znižaš z gumbom za glasnost. Če pa je glasnost prenizka, imaš problem.

There are plenty of headphones, particularly the more expensive, that have higher impedances than that. You also shouldn't go too low: 16 ohms is the minimum.

(Older Ipods have almost the reverse issue: too low an impedance and you get bloated bass and lack of highs (which is incidentally why a clip+ requires a minimum of 16 ohms) . Ipods have more powerful amps so you should stick with a minimum of 55 ohms to see good performance in an older ipod.)"
