Ali je igra tako smešno narejena, ali sem kje spregledal kakšno nastavitev:
Če imam nastavljeno na ročno prestavljanje z uporabo sklopke, lahko med vožnjo brez problemov prestavljam, ne da bi stiskal sklopko... je to hrošč?

As most answers have already shown, most cars in game have sequential shift gearboxes, only a few have an H-pattern gearbox. The ALL however have a clutch. It is during the downchange that most use it too. The sequential shift system is not like F1 where you just choose a gear, but you can get away without using clutch, even on downchanges. It is advisable to use clutch on downchanges as the longetivity is cherished in endurance racing. That means most still heel'n'toe downchange.
But not all, Peter Kox said he did left foot braking in the DBR9 which means he doesn't use clutch for downchanges whereas when he drove the Murcielago he said it needed to be clutched to be smooth.
On an H-pattern gearbox, many drivers do flat upshifts whereby there is an electronic ignition cut during the gearchange.
So to generalise, if you want realism, use clutch on starts and down changes.
