Odkar uporabljate tale google analytics, traja pol ure, da se mi stran naloži.

jst sem danes zaradi neke brezvezne stvari preuredil svoj hosts file in zdajle čakal 1 minuto na ogled tegale posta, 67 sekund na prijavo, 28 sekund, da lahko vpišem tole, najbrž me čaka še minuta odpošiljanja, super res...
dodajte tole v "hosts" datoteko, če ste na win200/xp je lokacija c:\winnt\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

Jest mam take stvari na 0.0.0.0 pa mislm da glih tko pomaga. Ve kdo kaka je razlika pri Winsih ce mas v hostih 0.0.0.0 ali 127.0.0.1. A pri slednjem

Po mojem je boljse, ce imas 127.0.0.1 ker imas v hosts datoteki vpisano da je to local computer, za 0.0.0.0 pa poskusa resolvat preko DNS-ja...

Boljs je ja, sicer ne proba resolvat, gre pa na ruter, kateri potem odgovori z Destination not reachable, medtem ko se pri 127.0.0.1 vse zgodi lokalno.

umm .. nimam hosts fajla ..
drgač pa mislim, da je tole en minus za slo-tech .. da so dal tale guglanalitiks gor .. nismo vsi taksni hekerji, da lahk gremo kr en fajl rihtat na masini zarad slo-techa .. dajmo fantje .. razmislite malo ..

Razlog za inštalacijo adblock je bil pri meni hadrian.httpool.com, je pa google-analitics tudi zaradi svoje neodzivnosti pristal na spisku.
Za implementacijo na večih računalnikih pa priporočam adzap za squid na FW/proxyju.

hmm .. sem malo poguglu .. hosts file .. brez končnice .. gre v windows/system32/drivers/etc .. masina mora biti restartana .. da bi bilo efekta .. correct me if i'm wrong ..

Ni treba restartat. Brskalnik zazeni znova, pa bo. Dodaj se to, ti bo blokiralo tudi tuje reklame...

Tole je že sicer zelooo staro, ampak še zmeraj precej učinkovito za Mozilo. Shrani si to v datoteko userContent.css v chrome direktoriju (išči userContent-example.css). V parih letih uporabe še nisem odkril, da bi blokiralo kakšno zadevo preveč.

To resolve this issue (manually) open the "Services Editor"
* Start | Run (type) "services.msc" (no quotes)
* Scroll down to "DNS Client", Right-click and select: Properties
* Click the drop-down arrow for "Startup type"
* Select: Manual, click Apply/Ok and restart. [more info]
You can see that the above "Service" is not needed (after a little browsing) by opening the Services Editor again, scroll down to DNS Client and check the "Status" column. It should be blank, if it was needed it would show "Started" in that column. [more info]
