My computer izginil iz sistema

I have a very challenging problem.
It seems i somehow removed "my computer" and "my network"(not just the icon from desktop) from the system. My computer only
appears when i hit win+e and still it shows an empty space, while my network is to find nowhere. If i go to display
properties, customize desktop... Boxes for my computer and my network are disabled, grey(as they werent there to use. See attached
picture)
Additional: i tried 100 differet tweaks for enabling those things, i even reinstalled windows(now when i press win+e before it
opens my computer it tries to install adobe acrobat from network?!?! )
I doublechecked for viruses and other malware, and since i just bought the notebook this copy of windows is not even 1 month on
it.
I dont want to format as i configured my system and installed lots of programs for my work and college. Please help

You should do a format before you reinstalled windows. If you just override the installation you don't solve anything. Oh, format is not an option for you.
Hm, then you should try safe mode (press F8 at boot) and tell what do you see. Are the icons there? Maybe something has hidden them (Tweak UI maybe)...

Bring back old Desktop icons. New users of WinXP may wonder what happened to the My Documents, Internet Explorer, Network Neighborhood, and My Computer icons that were planted on the Desktop in earlier Windows versions. Most of these icons are still available for the Desktop, but they are buried in the Start menu and other menus. A few twists of the Registry keys will unlock them.
The values that turn back My Documents, Internet Explorer, My Computer, and Network Neighborhood icons all are in:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\HideDesktopIcons\NewStartPanel
To restore the My Documents icon, right-click the {450D8FBA-AD25-11D0-98A8-0800361B1103} value, modify the Value Data from 1 to 0, and click OK.
To restore the Internet Explorer icon, right-click {871C5380-42A0-1069-A2EA-08002B30309D}, modify the Value Data from 1 to 0, and click OK.
To restore the My Network Neighborhood icon, right-click {208D2C60-3AEA-1069-A2D7-08002B30309D}, modify the Value Data from 1 to 0, and click OK.

Sicer pa se mi zdi cela tema zelo čudna, saj prvič ni slike, vendar naj bi bila prilozena (See attached picture) in drugič zakaj v angleščini?

se opravicujem za anglesko verzijo..ampak sem postal na tujem forumu pa se mi ni dalo se enkrat tipkat...predvideval pa sem da znate jezik. ce je potrebno ga tudi prevedem.
se enkrat sori in res bi biu hvalezen za pomoc

1.vaianta naredi samo shortcut, to ni dejanski my comp(npr. ce hoces neki shranit s kakrsnikoli programom v okencu poleg "my recent documents, desktop, my documents, my network places in ev. history, ta shortcut ni viden")
2.varianta poskusil sem tudi to in mnogo razlicnih twikov direkt v regedit, gpeidt, instalirou malo morje tweak programov kot tweakui ali tweak xp pro ipd...

r5r: ne razumem nabolj tvoje variante (za sliko pa: ce mi poves kako jo prilozit jo z veseljem)
Alexius Heristalski: slabe stvari ki jih najprej opazimo pri drugih, najveckrat sami najbolj obvladamo!!tako da te razumem zakaj se pritozujes namesto da bi tudi ti delil svoje konstruktivno znanje z ostalimi.

Hja, poglej, potem pač uporabljaj Total Commander, ki je odličen nadomestek za WinExplorer ter po moje najboljši file manager. Če ti še tam ne pokaže ikon diskov in tega boš pač moral zadevo namestiti čisto na novo.

R33D3M33R: glede virusov...samo enega, ampak zato ker mislim da bi ce bi bilo to delo virusa, se nasle se kaksne druge nepravilnosti v funkcionalnosti winsow ali ne? razen tega mi komp dela perfektno

Hm, virus ni nujno da ti zmede računalnik, lahko naredi tudi samo par vragolij, ki niso opazne na prvi pogled. Recimo meni je v system32 enkrat nametal .com datoteke, ki naj bi prestregle klic po izvirni datoteki. Seveda sem zadevo takoj pogruntal, saj nikakor ni šlo zagnati recimo regedit in par drugih zadevščin...
