AMD in zaklenjeni množilniki

Dear customer,
i see you point of view but as a AMD technical service engineer, i can't go further than this.
I guess it's up to overclockers to find the way of using their technology in the way they prefer even with locked multipliers.

Than why, are the multipliers locked? When you did that, it was a catastrophy for AMD. Belive it.

Dear customer,
overclock is surely making a processor more appealing to a customer but AMD can't advise it at all.
Rather than spending money in marketing (such as the arcticle you're talking about) AMD is developing its processors in order to satisfy customer needs with a fair amount of money.
We don't want to prevent you from having fun in OC, just be aware that if you spend 733 dollars on a FX-51 and you blow it up while overclocking AMD won't obviously give any warranty.
