Intel bo odklenil i3 ?? 4GHZ+ Overclock ?
Z intelove strani zaenkrat ni znaka, da jih je strah AMDja.

Odklenil so i3, kar smo si ze od nekdaj zelel. i5 napovedi pa ne zgledajo da bo padel kaj dosti v ceni.

blagodati konkurence, Nice, AMD

naj raje odklenejo ht na i5kah, i7 dajo 6c/12t in še par mb l3 cacha ter novo linijo i8 z 8c/16t, še več l3, višjimi clocki (base in turbo), brez gpuja, višjim tdp in odklenjenm množilnikom

Ampak žal tole izvira iz tistega forum linka, ki ga je hojnik prilepil nekaj dni nazaj in so ga kasneje izbrisali, kjer naj bi nek insider curljal te informacije v javnost.. Sem takrat prebral vse poste od tega domnevnega insiderja in je bilo sumljivo, kako na vprašanje o ceni ni vedel ničesar, že naslednji dan pa potem postregel s ceno in še celim kupom drugih informacij.. Zna bit kak troll, ali pa AMD spušča takšne leake, da bi ljudje počakali z nakupom. Kdosigavedi kakšne igrice se grejo danes te velike korporacije.

Nenazadnje je Lisa Su izjavila: "So we believe we'll be competitive certainly with Core I5 as well as Core I7, and we will be launching in those areas."

Vse skupaj je sumljivo, ne samo cena. Vseeno pa je tip deloval legit, ker se vidi, da pozna zadeve.

Vsak mesec ko zamujajo, konkurenca ne čaka, to je problem. Dobesedno čas je denar.

Prvi zeni bojo zgleda vroči.

Kot sem jaz razeumel zadevo, bodo šli do tistih deklariranih 95W in pač verjetno še tistih ekstra 200MHz boš dobil v tem ( cherrypicking). Preostanek je namenjen rezervi pri OC.

Brane, kva misliš kake bojo frekvence 8 jedrnikov.

O 4ghz boosta se verjetno še ne moremo pogovarjat. Zanimivi znajo bit tud ostali iz te serije.

Kar se tiče cene, se mi ne zdi huda, če bojo frekvence kolko tolko visoke.

Pojma nimam. Glede na postavljeno ceno bi reku, da bodo nekoliko nižje kot pri najhitrejših Intlih, da pa bodo zadeve solidno navitljive.

Mene to v bistvu ne zanima,ker:

- bo VSAK čip itak imel frekvenci primerno ceno. Dobil boš več, kot pri Intlu za isti denar, ne bo pa zastonj.
- who cares za 10-30%. Toliko dobiš/zgubiš ob spremembi flagov pri preevajanju
- bistvene novosti so TDP, šparanej s štromom, true 8-core, DDR4 in s tem povezane višje kapacitete, SoC ( poceni plate), unificiran socket itditd.
Pa še to bo v začetku zasoljeno, ker bo pač novost, pa fajn bo počakat recimo 6 mesecev, da upenalijo proces in se pojavi poln spekter plat, da RAMom narastejo hitrosti in padejo cene itd.

Kar bo, bo, konkurenca je dobrodošla. Zdej ostane da počakamo na izzid in nehamo šlogat.

AMDji bodo vroči in imeli bodo večji TDP od Intelovih. Za Opterone ZEN based proci pričakujem za 32-core proc okoli dobrih 2.0Ghz frekvenco.
