I am sorry to hear that the board does not work for you. These boards are in 100% working order before they leave our warehouse. We will be more than happy to replace the mother board for you. Before We do I would like to be sure that there is something wrong with the board and not with the components. We would like you to try some of our simple troubleshooting tips. I know it sounds repetitive but it will help us determine if we need to issue a replacement board for you. There are a number of solutions to your problem. Unfortunately, troubleshooting this seems to be the most difficult it is very repetitive, since there are many things which could be preventing the system from starting.

1.) Please verify the part number on your old board and make sure it matches the replacement board.
2.) Please try booting with one Memory Module at time to test and make sure memory is not the problem.
3.) Please try booting with a different Memory Module
4.) If available please try booting with a different compatible CPU to ensure that the CPU is not defective
5.) Plug in an external monitor and see if you can get that lit up. Newer laptops will usually auto-sense the presence of an analog monitor and shift the display without you having to use the function key (Fn-F5 on most laptops).
6.) Please try to boot the motherboard with the touchpad and keyboard cable disconnected from the motherboard. We have seen problems where a defective keyboard or touchpad board can short the motherboard and cause problems.
7.) Powers on, no video, external or internal, powers off and powers back on. Try pulling the bios battery and all power from the board then leave sit then try again.
8.) Please verify all of the connectors on the board.
9.) Does not power on at all. Disconnect the video cable from the LCD and try turning it on. (A bad LCD cable will keep the laptop from turning on)
