If Your mobo supports DDR3, up to 2100 MHz. Crucial is letting you know that the RAM you've chosen is compatible technolog. That is, the RAM is DDR3. That said,
compatability isn't limited to what is published on the manufacturer's website. Rather, the supported memory list is just a list of what was tested and met or exceeded expectations. The only potential problem is that if in the event of your motherboard not POST-ing, any communication to Asrock's tech support could result in them telling you to use RAM that is on the support list.
