Jaz imam tako smb.conf datoteko:

Poskusi za začetek vpisati \\ip_linux_mašine v "location bar" od Raziskovalca.

Nastavis na serverju, tako da kreiras uporabnika v sistem nato mu nastavis geslo za sambo. Google ti bolj podrobno opise postopek (samba howto)

sam nisem tega nikoli nastavljal. dovolj je bilo, da sem skopiral conf datoteko v ustrezno mapo in pognal demone. res pa je, da uporabljam najosnovnejši način dostopa - brez uporabe gesel & co. - v stilu Windows XP.
