Imperium Galactica 3: Genesis Announced
After Escape from Alcatraz, CDV Software will collaborate with Hungarian developer Philos Entertainment to publish Imperium Galactica 3: Genesis. Escape from Alcatraz will be published at the end of 2001; Imperium Galactica 3: Genesis will go gold shortly thereafter in Q1 2002, according to CDV. In Imperium Galactica 3, the hero and his fleet fight alien races for mankind's survival. Upon his return to Earth, he finds his home planet occupied by aliens, with only one human space ship able to escape. The survivors must find this ship, use it to found colonies, and finally reclaim Earth. Imperium Galactica 3 will feature battle scenes full of animation and breathtakingly special effects. The player must set up colonies, maintain the fleet, and upgrade it by implementing alien technologies, if necessary.
