We’re looking for a Data engineer to collaborate with us and help us conquer the world 👍

We're seeking a skilled Data Engineer with Python and related technologies expertise to design, implement, and optimize data pipelines. The role involves ETL development, database management, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:
1. Data Architecture: Design and maintain scalable data architectures. Be able to produce technical specifications to deliver data requirements
2. Data Processing: Develop ETL processes for efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading. Optimize data processing for reliability and accuracy.
3. Python Development: Use Python for scripting, automation, and application development.
4. Database Management: Optimize databases for performance and data integrity. Implement and maintain database schemas, indexes, and queries. Perform maintenance.
5. Data Integration: implement batch and real-time data solutions to integrate data from diverse sources, ensuring compatibility and consistency.

Key Qualifications:
-Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
-Proven Data Engineer experience with a focus on Python.
-Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, Post GIS, geopandas and data modelling.
-Experience with ETL processes, databases, and data warehousing.
-Familiarity with big data technologies and distributed computing.
-Excellent problem-solving and communication skills in English
-Collaborate with business stakeholders, data scientists and engineering teams.
-Ability to work independently and in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Additional Qualifications:
-Cloud platform experience e.g., GCP, AWS, Azure
-Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools.
-Familiarity with data governance and security best practices.
