Hooray Heroes is a company dedicated to putting smiles on children’s faces all over the world with our amazing personalized books created just for them in which they’re the heroes of the stories! To help us accomplish this mission, we are looking for a backend developer to reinforce our team, bring new perspectives and fresh ideas.

You will be responsible for code development, implementation and maintenance. Good knowledge of PHP, Laravel and interest in cloud development and implementation are essential.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

- code development, implementation and maintenance,
- code analysis, testing and optimization,
- debugging and fresh approach to issue solving,
- orientation towards constructive and productive communication,
- adapting the schedule and priorities based on book launches and seasonal increase in purchases,
- database administration.


Od kandidatov zahtevamo


JOB REQUIREMENTS:

- proficient knowledge of English,
- at least 2+ years of experience as PHP developer,
- good knowledge of PHP,
- experience with Laravel,
- knowledge of MySQL, Redis, NodeJS,
- interest in Cloud development and implementation,
- use of Jira or similar tool,
- some knowledge of frontend technologies (Vue.js) would be an asset,
- high motivation, inquisitive with the ability to multi-task and effectively manage priorities to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment,
