Kanada je letos sprejela rekordno število ljudi iz STEM področja. Kanada je v bistveno boljšem položaju kot večina Evropskih držav.

Ti resno primerjaš Švedsko in Kanado? Kanada je tako kot ZDA odprta za migracije in tam ni nič ne navadnega če imaš ljudi iz celega sveta. Na Švedskem če si črn oziroma če si Azijec te gledajo po strani v Kanadi je pa to normalno zato lahko Kanada tudi mirno sprejme tudi do 2 milijona ljudi pa ne bo sistem razpadel. Si predstavljaš 1 milijon migrantov na Švedskem v enem letu?
In kaj je narobe z ZDA? Če bi bilo tako kot ti praviš bi že ZDA že zdavnaj propadle pa še vedno nič? ZDA sploh ne moreš enačiti z ostalimi državami ker nobena na svetu nima takšnega sistema migracij kot ga imajo tam, najbližje je prav Kanada.

Nekaj malega vem o življenju in delu v Kanadi. Ko so me Kanadčani spraševali kakšne so razlike med Kanado in Slovenijo in seveda pričakovali, da bom, siromašni post-komunistični vzhodnjak, začel hvaliti njihovo državo, jih je moj odgovor: "Največja razlika je hrana", običajno razočaral. Da sem jih potolažil, sem ponavadi dodal: "Da, pa zime so daljše in bolj mrzle, pa več snega imate". Iz uvidevnosti do gostiteljev sem opazko - gospodarsko se spreminjate v Mehiko 2.0 za ZDA - obdržal za sebe.
Prvi odgovor ponovim, ko me isto vprašajo v Sloveniji, dodam pa še "Vsi zdravniki iz ljubljanskega UKC bi se morali iti učiti v Kanado, kako se obravnava in komunicira z bolniki."

Nekako do leta 1980 je bil GDP per capita približno enak, med 1980 in 1990 je Kanada rahlo zaostajala za ZDA, med 1990 in 2002 je bila Kanada gospodarski bolnik v primerjavi z ZDA, med 2002 in 2011 je GDP per capita sunkovito zrastel in prehitel ZDA (!), po letu 2013 pa Kanada zopet krepko zaostaja za ZDA. Trenutno za cca. 28 % manjši GDP per capita od ZDA.

Ti sploh kdaj komentiras kaj pametnega? Se zavedas da je kanada polna kitajcev in indijcev,naceloma sploh ne deluje vec evropsko ze slabih deset let.

Zal ni res. Poglej si na /pol-u teme o problematiki kanade in indijskih imigrantov,ter tega kako so unicili solstvo,ker zaradi njih so sole spustile kriterije ,da lahko sploh zdelajo imigranti.
Ter dodam da tisti ki so delali z indijci v ITju,vedo da so za en kurac,seveda so izjeme ampak naceloma si ne zelis delati z njimi.

Canada's standard of living is on track for its worst decline in 40 years, according to a new study by Canada's Fraser Institute.
The study compared the three worst periods of decline in Canada in the last 40 years - the 1989 recession, the 2008 global financial crisis, and this post-pandemic era.
They found that, unlike the previous recessions, Canada is not recovering this time.
Something broke.
In fact, according to the Financial Post, since 2019 Canada's had the worst growth out of 50 developed economies. Inflation-adjusted Canadian wages have been flat since 2016.
Canadian bankruptcy filings jumped 40% last year, while CIBC reports nearly half of Canadians have zero emergency savings.
According to StatsCan Canada's violent crime rate is up 40% since 2014.
An Ipsos poll found 7 in 10 Canadians agree that "Canada is broken" - rising to 8 in 10 of those between age 18 and 34.
Angus found fully 42% of Canadians are considering moving to another country.
What Changed
This is all a shock because it happened so fast - it's night and day from the last crisis in 2008, which Canada weathered much better than America.

Government workers in Canada are growing almost four times faster than the private sector, and one in three Canadians now work for the government, raking in 30% more in salary and benefits than the taxpayers they lord over.
Another 1.7 million Canadians - roughly 1 in 10 households - are on welfare.
