Our conversation was wide ranged but main centered on you guessed it, cooling. Surprisingly Randy and I saw pretty much eye to eye when it came to water-cooling. This included that biggest was not always the best. An example of this would be the tubing, that’s used in many water-cooling kits. These days it looks like the buzzword when it comes to tubing is ˝ inch. But ˝ inch tubing in many cases is too much water flow; this large amount of flow does not allow the water to properly cool in the radiator, especially if it’s a small radiator. And all though you’re running the latest and greatest you might not be getting the proper cooling or at least the cooling that you could achieve if you used smaller tubing.

Samo je povdaru da je to predvsem pri majnših (beri tudi slabših) radiatorjih.
Točno to bi bilo zelo pametno testirati, koliko se s pretokom zmanjšuje oziroma spreminja toplotna učinkovitost celega hladilnaga sistema.

Me prav zanima, kako bo pri meni hladil radijator od Zastave, ko imam 1/2" cevi.
Radijator ima samo dva prekata in več cevčic, ki so obdane z rebri. HMMMM, velikost je pa 25x15x5 cm (se razume).

Pripomba: tip je pozabu na to, da se voda pri hitrjšem toku pač malo manj segreje v samem bloku kot voda, ki teče počasneje. Less heat, less cooling, remember ?
Ko segaš po zvezdah ne skrbi, če kakšno zgrešiš... Morebiti ujameš Luno...
