Dobri stari ARJ za DOS...

zanima me, če se še kdo spomne, kaj je treba napisati, da ti npr. eno datoteko ki je na disku spravimo na več disket z ARJ za DOS. in pol kako se to naredi še obratno.

DE-ARCHIVING:
C:\>arj command -options archivefile files...

Where command is the main command that you want to execute (ie compress, extract, list), options denotes add-on capability that you can add to command, archivefile is the name of the archive file and files represents the name of the files you want to compress and archive.

For a quick reference to the commonly used commands and options you can simply run ARJ without any arguments as follows:

Ti to kaj pomaga ?

tocno tako, sem pogledal v moj prastari zvezek, kjer mam vse napisano, tudi kode za lemmings1 in podobno saro

arj a a:imeARJ *.* -va naredi arj na disketo v odvisnosti od placa
arj a imeARJ *.* -v1440 naredi arhive velikosti diskete (na disk)
če daš na koncu -r, doda direktorije

arj x imeARJ razpakira arhiva z poddirektoriji, kot so bili arhivirani
arj e imeARJ razpakira arhiv brez drevesne strukture itd...

Če želiš dobiti arhiv z več disket nazaj, lahko razpakiraš vsako posebej z ukazom arj x imeARJ.ARJ (.a01, .a02 itd) in bo zadeva delovala. Samo te bo vprašal ali želiš datoteko prilepiti k obstoječi (tam, kjer je končal).
Če pa daš na koncu -y , pa bo naredil vse avtomatsko.

se pomnite pkzip in pkunzip?

un|verse: pomnimo? jaz ga še uporabljam... verzija 2.5+ podpira dolga imena, stvar je zelo uporabna v skriptah za razne backup-e

winzip-a pa sploh nimam instaliranega, ker ga ne rabim.

aja... novejši dos-ovski arj tudi podpira dolga imena, vendar je zip le nekakšen standard...
