Kaj si inštaliral iz tgz ali iz source? Imaš tcl/tk?

mogoče bo delalo.

odpreš konzolo,
se prijaviš kot root (napišeš su in pol geslo) in potem
installpkg /tam/kjer/si/downloadal/amsn.tgz

lahko si pa za slack če uporabljaš kde naštimaš to
http://www.kde-apps.org/content/show.ph...
tako da lahko pol kar klikneš gor pa izbereš install package.

zakaj pa ne uporabljaš Kopete ali pa GAIM?
drugače pa take stvari raje pobiraj iz www.linuxpackages.com
in jih enostavno nameščaš z installpkg ali pa pkgtool

S katerim programom lahko gledam webcam *.Dat oz dejansko *.CAM fajle z amsnja v0.97 RC1 webcama (za win32 platformo) (sem poskusil z vlc pa ne gre) ?

GSpot v2.70a ne najde nič.

How can I browse through my webcam logs and convert the .cam (cam recordings) to a movie file such as .mpeg?

The file format of those .cam files are a direct dump of the data received on the socket, which means it's in the MS proprietary format. For this reason, no player can play those files, only amsn. We have plans for a future version to include more advanced viewing capabilities to the webcam logs viewer (fast forward, seeking, choose specific session, etc..) and we also have plans in creating a converter that will convert these logs into a known format like .avi or .mpeg. These features are not yet implemented but will probably be integrated in aMSN in the future, but please be patient until that time comes.

Actually there's a tool to do it released by Hyriand (linux only). See [[11]]
