Blocksi Inc,. a leading company dedicated to creating secure and productive learning environments is looking for a talented Backend Developer to join our innovative team.

As a Backend Developer at Blocksi, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of educational technology. You will work with a dynamic tech stack including Node.js, TypeScript or Express, MongoDB, Redis, Cassandra, Python, HTML, CSS, jQuery, Docker, Agile methodology, Jira, Git, and Google API.

Develop and maintain server-side logic and integrate with front-end components.
Design, implement, and maintain robust database systems, ensuring efficient data storage, retrieval and security.
Create and maintain APIs to facilitate communication between different services and front-end applications.
Monitor and optimize server performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks.
Implement security measures, including encryption, authentication, and authorization, to protect data integrity.
Integrate third-party services and APIs to extend application functionality.
Write clean, maintainable code and document the development process, code structure, and API endpoints.
Diagnose and fix bugs, performance issues, and other problems in the application.
Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and other testing protocols to ensure application robustness and reliability.
Utilize version control systems like Git to manage and track changes in the codebase.
Stay updated with the latest technologies, best practices, and industry trends to continuously improve skills and the application.

Requirements:
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Backend Developer or similar role.
Proficiency in server-side languages such as JavaScript, Node.js, Python, etc.
Experience with database technologies like MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.
Strong understanding web services.
Familiarity with front-end technologies and frameworks is a plus.
Knowledge of security best practices and development.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
