Senior DevOps Engineer (m/f/d)
Fulltime | Remote

We would need your energy for:
- A potential candidate would support the CyberNoc platform deployments in multiple AWS/Azure cloud environments. This involves deployments and updates of various microservices and supporting applications on Virtual Machines.
- In addition, there will be work on observability tooling, CI/CD and process automation to ensure high availability for our customers.
- Creative thinking and technical troubleshooting of various problems will be common as we continue to tune our systems.
- The person would collaborate with team members in the DevOps team. They would also have constant interactions with the Developer team, gathering information for future improvements and understanding the architecture/logic of the microservices.

Od kandidatov zahtevamo

You have the following qualifications:
- Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering or other related field
- Strong understanding of software development processes and agile methodologies
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, Ansible or CloudFormation and version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation and tooling
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude towards learning and adopting new technologies
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams - English being the primary language

Desirable knowledge:
- Linux (Ubuntu/RHEL) - advanced knowledge
- Microservices and containerized applications (Docker, Podman)
- Kubernetes (EKS/AKS) - advanced knowledge
- Infrastructure as Code (Ansible, CloudFormation, Terraform) - advanced knowledge
- Observability tools (Prometheus/VictoriaMetrics, Grafana, Alertmanager, ELK stack) - beginner
- Version Control Systems (GitHub) - advanced knowledge
- CI/CD (GitHub Actions)
- Networking (Web Sockets, Load balancers, VPNs, routing etc.) - beginner

Bonus points for:
- Database Administration (Postgresql)
- Messaging software (RabbitMQ)
- Tracing
- Medium-scale web platform experience
- Java 17 (Spring Boot)
- AngularJS 2.0 
- Energy grid and market knowledge
- Multitenancy experience
- GitOps (ArgoCD)
