Soniox is building the future of real-time voice AI, and we're looking for a Frontend engineer who can turn powerful technology into intuitive, high-performance products.

As a Frontend engineer at Soniox, you'll help design and build the user-facing surfaces of our speech and translation AI products. You'll work closely with research, design, and backend teams to bring advanced capabilities, like live transcription, multilingual translation, and real-time voice reasoning to users across web and mobile platforms.

You'll be working in a fast-moving, highly collaborative environment where we value simplicity, clarity, and real-world impact. This role is ideal for engineers who care deeply about user experience and are excited to build products from scratch.

In this role, you will:
- Build and maintain frontend applications using React, TypeScript, and latest web technologies.
- Develop robust, scalable frontend infrastructure to support live audio, real-time streaming, and interactive AI interfaces.
- Collaborate with product, research, and design to prototype, implement, and iterate on new user experiences.
- Contribute to the full product lifecycle, from architecture and design to implementation and production deployment.

You might thrive in this role if you:
- Have 4+ years of experience building and shipping production-grade web apps.
- Are confident building complex systems end-to-end, even in the absence of mature infrastructure.
- Have deep experience with TypeScript, React, and the modern frontend stack.
- Care about design, performance, and building maintainable systems.
- Love fast data-driven iteration and adapt well to change and ambiguity.
- Enjoy learning new things and teaching others what you learn.
