We seek a Mid Data Engineer (m/f) to join our client’s team and drive innovative data analytics solutions. Apply now and make an impact!

Our client, international company Cloud Services, specializes in Microsoft Azure Cloud solutions, including data analytics, data warehouses, and big data. As a Gold Microsoft CSP Partner and Azure Expert MSP, they work with top clients like Infobip, Weiler Abrasives, Zavarovalnica Triglav, Orbico, Gen-I, Pandora and others. They’ve also expanded into the Baltic countries, Slovenia, Croatia, and Serbia, and received numerous Partner of the Year awards.

Main responsibilities:
- Responsible for helping to select, deploy, and manage the systems and infrastructure required for a data processing pipeline to support customer requirements.
- Primary responsibilities revolve around DevOps tasks, including implementing ETL pipelines, monitoring and maintaining data pipeline performance, and optimizing models.
- Work with cutting-edge cloud technologies such as Azure Fabric, Apache Spark, Data Lake, Data Bricks, Data Factory, Cosmos DB, HD Insights, Stream Analytics, and Event Grid.
- Implement these technologies in projects for corporate clients across Europe, CIS, the UK, and the Middle East.

Od kandidatov zahtevamo

Ideal candidate has:
- At least 2 years of experience, ideally within a Data Engineer role.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing concepts, and ETL processes.
- Strong experience with Cloud technologies (Azure).
- Proficient experience in distributed computing principles and familiar with key architectures, and has abroad experience across a set of data stores (Azure Data Lake Store, Azure Synapse Analytics, Apache Spark, Azure Data Factory).
- Strong T-SQL skills.
- Degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering or a related field.
- Fluency in spoken and written English.

Advantages are:
- Understanding of landing, staging area, data cleansing, data profiling, data security and data architecture concepts (DWH, Data Lake, Delta Lake/Lakehouse, Datamart).
- Knowledge in using Spark (using either PySpark or Scala).
- Relevant Data engineering certification (DP-203, DP-600).

- Full-time employment, with three months’ probation period. Full-time contract collaboration (s.p.) is possible as well.
- Hybrid work opportunity, with the office in Ljubljana – the ratio of working from home and on location depends on the individual.
- A competitive base salary between 33,600- 45,600 EUR gross 1, final offer depends on experience and seniority.
- Additional financial bonuses according to company bonus policy.
