The role is based in Ljubljana, Slovenia, and as a Technical Solutions Engineer Team Lead, you will play a pivotal role in guiding and inspiring a team of dynamic and motivated professionals who are committed to providing exceptional technical support to our clients worldwide, ensuring the success of our products and services.

As the Team Lead for Technical Solutions Engineers, your primary responsibility will be to lead and mentor a group of talented individuals in delivering advanced technical support to our global clients while making sure that cases are prioritized and handled within the predefined SLAs. You will also provide technical support to the team, acting as a goto person for matters that are directly or indirectly related to work, both of a technical nature and beyond. By ensuring collaboration between our R&D, AdOps, Account Managers, and Product teams, you will be responsible for fostering strong partnerships that are essential to our ongoing success.

A day in the life

-Lead, inspire and guide a team of young and motivated Technical Solutions Engineers, cultivating a space that promotes teamwork and growth.
-Strategize for the professional growth and development of team members to consistently enhance the quality of their work while making a good effort to make them stay motivated.
-Ensure the team collaborates with cross-functional teams to provide advanced technical support to our clients globally.
-Tackle complex technical and analytical challenges daily, continuously expanding your leadership and technical skill set.
-Work closely with account managers who look after the accounts of big and globally known brands and offer technical support.
-Conduct calls with clients to effectively troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
-Share insights and ideas that contribute to the improvement of our products and services.
-Troubleshoot and provide solutions and insights to various technical issues escalated by the AdOps team.
-Make sure that incidents, bugs, concerns, are escalated to RnD.
-Oversee and ensure that issues reported through different communication platforms (such as slack, Salesforce, email, etc.) are promptly addressed, and take measures to ensure that they are resolved as timely as possible.
-Use your technical skills and ensure campaigns, pixels and creatives are set up correctly so that they work as intended.
-Perform an in-depth troubleshooting by pulling data from our database thereby analyzing and providing tailored solutions, insights and data to marketers.
-Make sure that your team has the resources they need to effectively carry out their day to day work.

Od kandidatov zahtevamo

Required

-Proven experience in a technical support or engineering role preferably within the ad tech industry, along with a proficiency in technical problem-solving.
-Strong leadership skills, with the ability to mentor, motivate, and guide diverse team members.
-Good communication skills to facilitate effective collaboration with various stakeholders.
-A passion for technology and a willingness to dive into complex technical issues.
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple challenges with poise.

Preferred

-Familiarity with Outbrain’s Amplify Dashboard and campaign set up process.
-Prior experience in troubleshooting campaigns.
-Some knowledge of chrome developer tools.
-Familiarity with Salesforce.
-Basic understanding of Git.
-Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and/or similar.
-Strong scripting skills in Python and/or JavaScript (or others) for automating manual tasks.
-Proficiency in working with APIs and familiarity with API exploration tools such as Postman, Insomnia, or similar REST clients.
-Familiarity with some of the command line commands. You know your way around command lines, and can easily explore your file system on your computer via the command line.
