Our business is continuously growing and our organisation is getting bigger. To support Celtra's exciting growth needs we are now hiring for an Engineering Manager, DevOps.

Reporting to the VP of Engineering, Product Delivery, in this role you take advantage of your unique DevOps and leadership skill set and closely partner with the QA and Release Engineering team as well as with other Engineering teams.

1. About the role
In this role, you will gain an understanding of Celtra's platform and adjacent technologies in the ecosystem (authoring tools, ad servers, etc.), and develop relationships with the most relevant internal and external partners. You will make sure our production environment, tools, and processes are running smoothly and all challenges in the DevOps team are executed to the highest standards. By leading our DevOps team you will make sure our platform is running at the highest availability, performance, and scalability.

2. Your tasks
- Design and deliver software to improve the platform’s availability, efficiency, and scalability.
- Manage 5 eager DevOps Engineers and coach them to reach their full potential.
- Maintain existing (Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery procedures, post-mortems, on-call rotations, incidents, etc.) and establish new processes and documents.
- Partner with feature development teams to design scalable, stable, and efficient services.
- Work with InfoSec to ensure compliance with our production environment.
- Support Release Engineering and QA teams.
- Jump in and support the DevOps team in case of difficulties in the production environment.
- Set measurable expectations and regularly assess the team's performance.
- Take the initiative to acquire and retain the best talents.
- Lead by example and demonstrate transparency and integrity.

Od kandidatov zahtevamo

We are looking for a true Leader with:
- 2+ years of leadership experience (team up to 3 members) or being active in mentoring, coaching, or leading project engineering teams (all on top of technical background).
- Background in programming (we are using PHP, Node.js, Python, Golang, Scala, Javascript, Typescript, Vue.js, MySQL, Redis, Mongo, Snowflake) and following modern software development processes.
- Experience with the state-of-the-art deployment/provisioning tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform) and building mission-critical scalable infrastructure using AWS or other similar cloud providers.
- Ability to grow the team, set objectives, and make sure all team members are empowered, motivated and engaged.
- Fluent English language skills.
- As we are hiring on a permanent employment contract and this position is open in Ljubljana (SI) or Zagreb (CRO) you need to fulfill legal labor requirements (non-EU citizens need working permits, and both non-EU and EU citizens need residence permits).
