SciNote LLC is looking for a Fullstack Developer to join an international team of scientists, software developers, and creative business thinkers. This is a full-time, hybrid position based in Ljubljana, Slovenia.

You will enter the world of science and software solutions that support the greatest labs in the world today by supporting researchers in their software adaptation.

SciNote is a leading SaaS (software as a service) company, operating in the laboratory digitalization field.

The product SciNote ELN is a digital tool for managing scientific and industrial research, which helps laboratories around the world become more organized and efficient in their everyday operations. Our primary customer segment is life technologies, however, we do have customers from other fields of work as well, as our product is quite general in nature.

SciNote saves researchers time & money, helps them manage their knowledge, contributes to greater scientific and research output, and digitizes the research process. Our top-rated solution is used by academic, industry and governmental research organizations all around the world.

Od kandidatov zahtevamo

Requirements:

At least 2 years of experience with a MVC web framework (Ruby on Rails is a plus)
At least 2 years of experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL is a plus)
Understanding and experience with writing and consuming RESTful APIs
Experience with at least one of the following: Vue.js, React, AngularJS
GIT knowledge
Fluent English

Key tasks and responsibilities:

Planning and Development of business logic
Writing reusable code and tests
Designing APIs to support integrations
Code reviews
Translation of product specifications into tickets
Integration of data from different web services
Writing server side rendered UI using HTML and CSS
Writing reusable Vue.js components and efficient component hierarchies
Helping with organization and automation of the development process
Troubleshooting and debugging
