We are building an iconic cloud data security company for the multi-cloud era. We are backed by top-tier VCs, angel investors, and security leaders from Google, Stripe, Facebook, and more. The founding team consists of serial entrepreneurs and early engineers from startups and cloud scale companies.

We’re looking for a Frontend Engineer to lead the next phase of our growth. You'll work alongside builders who have helped to shape the success of companies such as Google, Okta, Rubrik, AWS and more.

ABOUT VEZA

Veza is the data security platform built on the power of authorization. Our platform is purpose-built for multi-cloud environments to help you use and share your data more safely. Veza makes it easy to dynamically visualize, understand and control who can and should take what action on what data. We organize authorization metadata across identity providers, data systems, cloud service providers, and applications — all to address the toughest data security challenges of the multi-cloud era. Founded in 2020, the company is remote-first and funded by top-tier venture capital firms including Accel Partners, Bain Capital, Ballistic Ventures, Google Ventures (GV), Norwest Venture Partners, and True Ventures.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a Frontend Engineer, you will wear many hats, but core responsibilities will include:

- Be a valued member of a collaborative agile team to continuously experiment, iterate and deliver on new product objectives.
- Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to tackle exciting and challenging problems.
- Build UI features using React, TypeScript, CSS
- Set a high bar for the technical design and code quality
- Write Unit Test and end-to-end tests
- Work with Team Lead to deliver features/tests/bug fixes
- Get things done as quickly as possible without compromising quality
- Contribute to architectural decisions in the codebase
- Communicate with other teams to resolve conflicts
- Help ensure the product provides value for customers
- Work with designers and PMs to ensure all edge cases are handled

Od kandidatov zahtevamo

IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience
- 5+ years experience with React, TypScript, CSS and Jest
- Solid understanding of enzyme and Selenium/Nightwatch
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with some ambiguity and help define a good user experience
- Ability to wear multiple hats in a fast-paced environment
- Hands-on, “can do” attitude and a bias for action
- Low ego and high intellectual curiosity

NICE-TO-HAVE-SKILLS:

- In-depth MobX knowledge or Redux with a solid understanding of asynchronous state management
- Big picture thinking
- Understanding the needs of a multi-tenanted UI
- In-depth knowledge and experiences with Storybook to document components
- Experience with metrics and telemetry systems
