Do you want to leave your mark on the future of a more humane industry where people are not burdened with monotonous, boring tasks? Are you interested in developing solutions for smart factories? In the Laboratory for Intelligent Visual Systems (LIVS) at Kolektor Digital we are looking for a Full Stack Developer, who shares our enthusiasm for developing systems beyond human vision and is passionate about the latest technologies in machine vision and artificial intelligence.

You would be helping us with the development of our VIDA (Visual Data Acquisition) solution. With intelligent video sensors, we obtain visual information, process it, and present it in the form of insights into what is happening in production. We can monitor the flow of material, detect production downtime, and similar events, in a non-invasive and easy way with the help of intelligent visual sensors.

Our main application uses NodeJs, NestJS and MariaDb. On the front-end, we use Angular, NPM, Webpack, and vanilla JavaScript if needed. Communication between sensors and backend systems takes place via the MQTT and WebSocket protocols. Backend systems ensure that intelligent video sensors are working as intended and have the correct workflow.

Projects and tasks where you will play the main role:
- Active participation in the design and development of web-based software.
- Working together with the whole team to develop and improve applications.
- Review other people’s code, ensure that the final code is of good quality.
- Code documenting, testing, and integration into a CI/CD.

What we expect from you:
- Proven programming skills in modern web technologies (Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, HTML) and frameworks (Angular, NestJS).
- Have understanding and experience of frontend and backend relationship concepts.
- Hands-on experiences in developing software, meaning that you have participated in the process from the very idea to the realization.
- Communication skills and the ability to discuss technical matters with both technical and non-technical people.
