We are looking for new people to join our team in the IT department of Kolektor, the information center of a multinational company with more than 30 companies and more than 5,000 employees worldwide. Kolektor is one of the key players in the global niches of components and systems for the automotive industry. With innovative solutions and approaches, the company also plays an important role in the international field of power engineering and engineering & technology systems, including construction, industrial automation and water technologies. Projects and tasks in which you will play the main role:
- Setting up and managing virtual servers
- Implementation and administration of various server services
- Control over the operation of servers and server services
- Maintenance of server software
- Cooperation with external partners and working on projects
- Participation in the implementation of new solutions
- Continuous improvement of existing solutions and processes
- Security of servers, server services and data
- Taking care of documents
- Following the trends in the field

Od kandidatov zahtevamo

You will enjoy your work and achieve the set goals if you have the following knowledge and/or experience & skills:
- Strong knowledge of the Windows server operating system
- Basic knowledge of the Linux operating system
- Good knowledge of network services and protocols: DNS, DHCP, TLS, RADIUS, http, etc.
- Knowledge of MS SQL database management systems
- Knowledge of Microsoft solutions Active Directory, Remote Desktop Services and System Center
- Knowledge of Hyper-V or VMWare virtualization platforms
- Knowledge of server infrastructure control systems
- Knowledge of backup systems
- Basic knowledge of the cloud solutions Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Office 365
- Basic knowledge of network operations and protocols: IP, TCP, UDP, etc.
- At least a college degree in Computer Science or knowledge and experience in the field
- Passive knowledge of English (listening, speaking and writing)

Not a requirement, but certainly a plus:
- Knowledge of network operations and protocols: IP, BGP, TCP, UDP, etc.
- Knowledge of network devices (switches, routers, firewalls, etc.)
- Knowledge of access control systems and policy enforcement (e.g., Cisco ISE)
