What we're up to
We work with our clients - Y Combinator startups - to figure out how to achieve their full potential through smart, high-functioning apps and websites that genuinely engage users and keep them coming back for more. As part of the Povio Labs team, you will have the opportunity to peek inside the world's best young startups and their projects. You will work among world-class talent on a wide range of unique interactive projects, with successful tech startups such as Moveloot and Moltin.

Where you fit in
You are a lead backend developer with a strong background working with Python in the Django framework. You will have experience leading the development of Restful APIs, backends, and web applications that are used by mobile apps. As lead dev, you will make decisions on the technologies being used in order to support the development of apps that embody Povio Labs's commitment to building excellent products, and you must understand mobile development at an expert level. You will run all dev operations for Povio Labs, so experience is necessary with AWS, including EC2, ELB, RDS, MySQL, and auto-scaling. You will love working with a team of highly skilled people, and will stand out as a mentor to your fellow team members, whether they are in the office next to you or working remotely. As a member of the Povio team, you must be inspired by technology and have a passion for creating innovative technical solutions.

Od kandidatov zahtevamo

3+ years of experience, preferably in a leadership position
Hands-on knowledge and proven experience of Ruby and/or Python
1-2 years of experience working with Rails and or Django
Experience with Heroku deployment, as well as AWS, including EC2, ELB, RDS, PostgreSQL/MySQL, and auto-scaling
Experience working with Stripe for payment processing, and Github
