No ja, pripadnosti svojemu "plemenu" (ali rodu) so se ljudje zavedali že tako rekoč od vsega začetka. Karantanci so se za samostojnost svoje kneževine borili proti Bavarcem, Frankom, Avarom... v 7. in 8. stoletju.Karantanci niso bili en (na)rod/pleme, pač pa multi-etnična tvorba (Hrvati, Bolgari, Dudlebi idr.).
V bistvu je narod v tem pomenu besede družbeni konstrukt. V "biološkem" pomenu besede ja pa narod enako ljudstvu (ki je etnična skupina brez svoje lastne države).Ne le nacije, tudi tudi etnije so namišljene (identitetne) skupnosti, torej ideološki konstrukti. Ne narod ne etnija nista biološki fenomen in še manj naravni noumenon.

Zacetek je bil dolgocasen/pocasen, vsaj 1-3 deli. Ampak so morali predstaviti vse like. Zadnja polovica je bila kul. Nisem pa bral knjig, tako da nisem nic vedel o vsebini zgodbe, moral sem pa pazit online na spoilerje o Eggu.
