The Umanitek Guardian Agent protects people from deepfakes and digital impersonation by combining Decentralized Knowledge Graphs (DKG) with perceptual intelligence. If you are excited by the idea of building resilient infrastructure and operational systems for agents that reason, not just predict, you will feel right at home.

As a Full-Stack Engineer, you will work across the Guardian Agent stack, building both user-facing applications and the backend services, APIs, and plugins that power them. You will contribute directly to the DKG Node runtime, MCP-based agent tooling, and Guardian-facing UIs, helping turn decentralized and AI-driven capabilities into reliable, production-ready products.

You will spend a significant portion of your time building and extending DKG Node plugins: mini-apps that expose MCP tools, REST APIs, and agent capabilities, while also working on frontend applications such as dashboards, the continuous guarding browser extension, and internal tooling. This is a hands-on role where ownership, architectural thinking, and the ability to move fluidly between frontend and backend really matter.

Technical experience that is most relevant to us:
- 3+ years of professional software development experience in a full-stack role
- Strong experience with TypeScript across frontend and backend
- Solid experience with React and the modern React ecosystem (Next.js, hooks, state management)
- Experience building backend services with Node.js and Express
- Experience with LLM systems/applications and the Model Context Protocol (MCP)
- Familiarity with REST APIs, authentication flows, and event-driven or agent-based systems
- Experience working with APIs, automation, scripting, and API/SDK integrations
- Experience with relational databases and ORMs (Drizzle)
- Comfort working across repositories and collaborating in interdisciplinary teams
- Strong communication skills and a product-oriented mindset

Technical experience that is nice to have:
- Experience with Expo framework
- Experience working with Decentralized Knowledge Graphs, semantic web, or graph data
- Familiarity with Web3 / blockchain concepts (wallets, signatures, decentralized infrastructure)
- Exposure to data visualization, graph-based UIs, or complex dashboards
- Experience with automation pipelines or agentic workflows
- Basic familiarity with Turborepo build system

Kandidatom ponujamo

Responsibilities
- Build and maintain full-stack features for the Guardian ecosystem, spanning UI, APIs, and agent logic
- Develop and extend DKG Node plugins that expose MCP tools, REST endpoints, and agent capabilities
- Implement backend services using Node.js, Express, and REST APIs to support Guardian workflows
- Integrate frontend applications with DKG, MCP tools, and AI agents
- Build and maintain the Guardian Agent UI, dashboards, and internal tools
- Contribute to the continuous guarding browser extension (frontend + backend integrations)
- Ensure security, performance, observability, and reliability across the stack
- Participate in product discussions and help shape how users and agents interact with AI safety systems
- Maintain alignment between Guardian features and the broader DKG and Umanitek roadmap

You will work directly with founders and researchers behind OriginTrail and Umanitek, helping build the foundation of AI safety infrastructure used by public institutions, enterprises, and individuals.
